Radiance doesn’t come from perfection.
It comes from acceptance—of yourself, of others, of humanity as a whole.

When we can see past the ways people treat us and understand the hurt or projection behind it, we free ourselves to stay in love, not in reaction. That’s the kind of radiance that lasts.

For a long time I thought it was “the right thing” to do
To care so deeply about everyone around me
To the point of taking their feelings on as my own
And abandoning my steadiness and center for them

But the reality is, that the most kind and loving thing
That you can do for someone you love,
Is to be deeply rooted in your self.

And if asked, you can offer guidance from that place.
But if not asked, you stay in your lane
Fill your lane with things that bring you joy
And continue on your journey of peace.
Because that’s our one true obligation
To get to and stay
In a place of peace

For a long time I had a million excuses as to why I couldn’t get back in the gym, play tennis anymore, do my life’s work etc.

I always had a full plate how could I possibly do more..
I have two babies that need me..
I’m already exhausted how could I possibly workout..

But the truth is, I was being lazy.
I was waiting for everything to pile up just so that I could complain about how much I was doing.
I was sabotaging myself.

And one day (thank the lord) I got tired of myself.
I got tired of feeling how I felt.
I got tired of my bad attitude.
I got tired of the pity.
And the games I was playing.

And I decided to move.
To get ahead of the pile up.
Wake up a little earlier to take care of myself and the things that needed to be done in order to set myself up for success for the day.

I decided to do my best with what I had.
And make it work.
And then something amazing happened,
I started to feel stronger and like myself again.

I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for all the practices that bring me back to myself.
So that I can be better for myself and the people that I love.

If you’re reading this and you’re feeling stuck in any way, this is your sign to get ahead of it!
Romanticize every minute of it.
Claim the beauty of your life into your heart.
Shift the negativity.
And be the light!!

There comes a point where you realize that waiting for everyone else to understand your choices is keeping you from fully living them.

Not everyone will see your vision.
Not everyone will agree with your next step.
And they don’t have to.

The people who create a life that feels deeply aligned aren’t the ones who receive the most validation—they’re the ones who learn to trust themselves enough to move before anyone else does.

Every decision you make is either rooted in fear of disappointing others or in honoring the person you’re becoming.

Choose yourself.
Again and again.

I remember a time when dating was going so horribly that I thought I didn’t want kids anymore
I fully lost faith that there would ever be someone that I’d want to start a family with
Which is crazy for me because I was always that kid who when asked what they wanted to be when they grew up always said “a mom”
But every doubt I ever had, this man completely put to bed.
That’s not to say that we didn’t have a lot to work through but he always showed up to work through it with me.
And in that same way he always showed up for me, he shows up for them.
I think he sparked belief back into me that everything I want in this life is completely possible.
That the impossible is possible.
I share this in hopes that it sparks some belief back into anyone who needs it. ✨
