Through the HOPE documentary project, we aim to give a voice to those who are often unheard: children, women, the elderly, and vulnerable lives that the world tends to forget.

Our mission is to tell their stories with dignity, through powerful, honest, and human-centered visuals.

To go further, we need your support.
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to that goal, making their voices heard.

🌍 The donation link is in my bio.
🙏🏽 Support HOPE. Together, let’s let the images speak.

PROTECTING A CHILD MEANS PROTECTING AN ENTIRE FUTURE.

In eastern DRC, particularly in Goma, many children continue to face the consequences of malnutrition, displacement, poverty, and conflict-related violence.

Through its activities supporting children and vulnerable communities, @hopenest.ngo is working to provide meaningful support to those who need it most.

Today, every contribution matters. The international community, partners, and anyone willing to support this cause can contribute to HopeNest’s work by making a donation through its official platforms.

Supporting a child today means investing in the future of an entire generation.

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, young people are choosing not to wait. They are organizing themselves, supporting one another, and taking initiatives to build solutions within their own communities, especially in Masisi Territory, in North Kivu, eastern DRC.

Through agriculture, young people can actively contribute to feeding thousands of families and strengthening food self-sufficiency for communities across the DRC.

But to go further, they need support. Their initiative needs organizations and individuals who can support them with management, partnerships, investment, training, and opportunities to develop their activities.

Supporting these young people means investing in a generation that wants to create, produce, and build its own future.

The potential is there. What is needed is more support to help it grow.

AT THE HEART OF TRADUCTION, THE STRENGTH OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES AND THE WOMEN WHO CARRY THEM FORWARD.

At the heart of the forests of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Indigenous Pygmy communities continue to preserve an ancestral heritage shaped by centuries of coexistence with nature.

Hunting, fishing, and gathering are not simply means of survival; they represent a living memory, a knowledge passed down from generation to generation, from grandparents to parents, and then to children.

But behind every day spent in the forest, by the lake, and in these natural environments, there is another equally essential force, the strength of #women.

As guardians of the household, educators, caregivers, and pillars of the family, women create the foundation upon which the efforts of the entire community depend. Their work, often unseen, is at the heart of resilience and the transmission of values.

Protecting Indigenous peoples means recognizing their knowledge, their dignity, and their invaluable contribution to our human and cultural heritage.

SUPPORTING THE PYGMIES OF IDJWI IN THE HEART OF IDJWI.

The indigenous Pygmy people embody the foundational identity of this land.

Faced with the challenges of marginalization, artisanal fishing on Lake Kivu remains their sole means of subsistence and survival. Rightfully known as the « guardians of Lake Kivu, » these fishermen display exceptional resilience and bravery.

They perpetuate a decades-old culture strictly passed down from grandfather to father, from father to son, and from son to grandson to feed their families.

The HOPE project is committed to protecting the dignity and rights of this vulnerable community your support is vital.

The funds raised will buy sustainable fishing equipment, guarantee food security for families, and support the schooling of indigenous children.

Make a humanitarian gesture, the GoFundMe link is available in my bio.

CHILDREN AT THE HEART OF THE FIGHT AGAINST EBOLA IN THE DRC.

One month after the outbreak of the Ebola virus disease in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, children continue to bear the heaviest burden of this health and humanitarian crisis.

Beyond the threat of the disease itself, families are being torn apart, education is disrupted, and many children find themselves increasingly exposed to the risks of exploitation, violence, and other forms of vulnerability.

These realities jeopardize their development, safety, and future. I call upon local authorities, the Government, humanitarian organizations, and all actors involved in the response to strengthen prevention, awareness, and community protection measures.

The fight against Ebola cannot be effective without special attention given to children, who remain the most vulnerable to the consequences of this epidemic.

Protecting children today means protecting the future of our nation. Their safety, health, and education must be at the core of every action taken.

CONGOLESE YOUTH: THE DRIVING FORCE OF TODAY AND THE BUILDERS OF TOMORROW.

Youth are the greatest asset of our nation. They embody hope, innovation, resilience, and the vision of a stronger and more prosperous Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Following the national consultations initiated by the Minister of Youth, @gracekutino , many young people enthusiastically welcomed the commitments and opportunities presented to support their development and participation in the country’s growth.

Today, in a constructive and patriotic spirit, we would like to learn about the next steps of these consultations and the mechanisms planned for implementing the recommendations put forward by Congolese youth during your visit to the city of #Beni last October.

We commend the Minister’s leadership and commitment while reaffirming the importance of meaningful inclusion of young people from Eastern DRC, whose realities, aspirations, and contributions deserve special consideration in decision-making processes. We also hope that youth from Eastern DRC will be better included and represented in all initiatives and policies aimed at empowering young people.

Youth are not only the future of tomorrow; they are already a driving force of today.
