POSTS STORIES REELS

I write like I’m running out of time, and need to tell stories like a Greek prophet. I’m a debuting author starting her writing journey. If you’re a reader I hope you’ll follow me along this journey because I will be a chaotic one. If you also a debuting author share your handle so we can all support each other! I’d love to see what you’re up too! by @rayli_stanley

Dungeons and Dragons 🧙meets Narnia ✨meets Tiana and Naveen
Two reluctant allies get transported to a fantastical world and have to find a way to get home. A barista providing for her broken home and a privileged rich jerk are forced to work together and learn how to use their new found abilities to save this new world, Elohisol.
It’s a clean YA Fantasy with lots of tension, complex characters, and dual POV between the MMC and FMC.
Hi! I’m a debuting author starting her writing journey and would love if you would follow me as I draft, edit, and publish my book! I have many stories to tell and this is just the first one! by @rayli_stanley

Was the algorithm right? Do you like my book?

If you do follow me to come along this journey as I write the book, edit, and become traditionally published.

(Not title but calling it) WIP Lacuna: “An afterlife romance of finding a long lost love alongside a found family of a diverse cast of characters with everyone trying to win their second chance on earth in an gladiator area with no memories of their past life in a low magic but highly complex world overrun by a female villain.” by @rayli_stanley

I have news…

It’s getting redone. Not a joke video this is real and I’m very sad. But it’s for the best… all 10 chapters. by @rayli_stanley

How did I do? Did I lock in?

Yes I indeed did! I finished the chapter giving me a headache finally! Writing is hard y’all! But don’t worry it’s so worth it because I know what I’m writing is going to be so good once finished.

Greetings! I am Rayli! I am writing my debut YA Fantasy novel in Dual POV about two highschool graduates being transported to magical world to save it. They team up as reluctant allies but don’t know if they really want to go home. On their journey they uncover who they are, who they want to be, and how to go in day by day. The story has the epic plot like Narnia, world building akin to Dungeons and Dragons, and character dynamics like Howls Moving Castle and the Princess Frog. by @rayli_stanley

I’m back! I’ve been dying to get back into my debut novel! I’ve missed the characters and the frustration that comes from writing. It’s a good frustration that I love to hate.

My debut novel is a YA Dual POV fantasy where two high school graduates are transported into a magical world and become reluctant allies as they have to save it to get back home. But what if they don’t want to go back? by @rayli_stanley

The days are short, the body is tired, and my mind is spinning with words I have not had the time to express.

“Who are you Day by Day?” The question that plagues my debut novel as I write it is now haunting me. Day by day I have not been a writer. But soon 😏very soon! by @rayli_stanley

I’m back! Research as a writer for my debut novel is soo fun! I’m not a hiker so this was important for me to learn.

Different vlog format today, hope you enjoy!

Getting time to write is slowly shrinking in front of my eyes so every little moment counts right now to keep the momentum! We’ve got this!

My debut novel is a young adult fantasy where two reluctant allies have to find a want back home after being magically thrust into a new world they have to save. It’s a mix of Narnia, dungeons and dragons, and howls moving castle. by @rayli_stanley

Anxiety comes with creativity I believe.

I’m writing my debut novel it’s a YA fantasy of two high school graduates who hate each other, are transported to a magical world and are fighting to get back home. It’s Narnia and Dungeons and Dragons meets Cozy Quest. by @rayli_stanley

This draft is coming along!! I’m so excited to hit this milestone. It may seem small to others but it’s big to me as someone who sees the fruit of something that is workable and can be great one day!

My debut novel is a YA Fantasy Dual POV between two high school graduates from different backgrounds, rich jerk, and humble barista, are transported into a magical world and have to save that world to get home, if they want to at all.

Thank you for everyone that keeps me writing!
Characters, People in my life, and the girl from middle school that wants to be a writer and the teen that has a dream to be an author.

One words on top another and another month passes by. This month writing my debut novel has been a whirlwind experience. First time I’ve wrote something that didn’t need anything built out but instead needed the pieces rearranged. I think honestly that’s harder because you’re not adding something but moving something around that you had already have set in your mind. Thank you for all that stick with my posting! by @rayli_stanley
