As much as you try to control training, timing, and consistency.. a fall cold doesn’t care - just gotta roll with it. Not firing at 100% this weekend, but the team energy was 🔛 and adding @makenakellerman to the squad brought big energy (and a podium!) to her first weekend with the team! It’s why I love this team so much - there are always positives to be taken from the weekend even when you aren’t stoked on your own performance. Body’s coming around, and I’m so excited to head to Canadian Nats & race @cxlevis on Sunday…. I hear the course is a goooood one!

It feels so good to be back. This is the best I’ve felt on/off the bike in a hottt minute. Rochester > Baltimore > Waterloo - 3 rounds of the USCX series to kick off the cyclocross season. Vibes are impeccable - The new @pinarello_us Crossistas are insanely good - squad is as strong as ever. Shaking off that cx rust and tracking for a really strong season. I love this sporttttt & I love what I get to do with this team ughh!

When the odds stacked higher than the barriers, @raylynnuss didn’t stop - she built. Now we’re rolling into year five (year six if you count the covid chaos) of running her own team, and the stoke is higher than ever. This chapter = all-women energy, fresh U23 girlies, new partners in the mix, and the same mission: giving young riders every chance to chase those bike dreams!

Lil scenes from Emporia.

An absolute rodeo with the mass start rollout for the 100 with 1800 people mixed with the u23 boys 🐎. Didn’t quite drink enough those first 2hrs dodging crashes every 5mins (I think we all were caught up in at least one). The legs paid for that 94 miles in as a gnarly cramp set in. But it feels so good to feel strong on the bike again. As always these events are a great time bc of community and getting to connect with friends & partners! - my roots run through Kansas so it’s always a pleasure.

SF is still cute. An extra special bop to onboard at @strava and roll a top 20 at @levisgranfondo - my first race after the cx season break. The soft catch up moments were 🔝.
