Hampton Demesne in Balbriggan is a new development by The Land Development Agency, Fingal County Council and Ballymore and the application portal for first 73 starter homes is now open.

If you’re interested in buying one of the available homes, the first step is to confirm that you meet the Starter Home Scheme eligibility criteria.

Applicants must generally be first-time buyers, or qualify under the Fresh Start principle, be over 18, have the right to live in Ireland, and require support to bridge the gap between their mortgage approval and the market price of the home.

The application process is completed online through the Fingal County Council portal.

You’ll need to register, upload all required supporting documents, and submit a complete application before the closing date. The council are still accepting applications for this phase until 5pm on Wednesday 9th September.

Applications are assessed on a first-come, first-served basis once the portal closes and you can see the household income limits at fingal.ie/hampton-demesne-balbriggan
