✨🥞 HAPPY PANCAKE DAY 🥞✨

Reminiscing over these gorgeous gorgeous Japanese-inspired soufflé pancakes from @fuwafuwalondon 🤤

Of course I got the @lotusbiscoffuk one and my friend opted for the limited edition classic Tira-miss-u (very fitting as she’s half way across the world right now 🥹)

These were very very rich and filling so if you don’t have the biggest sweet tooth (like me) I’d recommend sharing and deffo don’t go on an empty stomach!!

Hope everyone’s been enjoying the festivities ✨

I know I’ve been MIA for the past yr or so (despite promising to post more regularly) but for those that know me personally know I’ve had a LOT on that’s required more of my time and attention.

Thought my absence would go unnoticed but for the handful of people that did reach out and check in - you’re real ones 🫶🏽

Glad to say I’m in a better space now but will try to not isolate and become a ghost when things do get tough again (cos they always bloody do 🥲)

If there’s one plan I’ll never say no to it’s a cheeky brunch 🤪 ⁣

Visited @hixongreen a couple weeks ago for my friends birthday (better yet birthWeek) and I had the most incredible time 🥰 ⁣
⁣
I opted for a Full English aka The Hunter (£13.50) and there were no crumbs left on the plate 🤤 ⁣
⁣
Since lockdown has eased and we can wine and dine as per “usual” I haven’t been the best at being active on this page but I have a bunch of content to post and excited to do so ✌🏽😚⁣ taken in Hixon Green by @rayviews_

How stunning is my friends wedding cake 😍 ⁣⁣

After several cake tasting sessions (I would prolong this as much as poss 😝), they opted for Fig & Hazelnut 💗 and Dark Chocolate & Cappuccino 🖤 ⁣⁣
Such unique choices that compliment each other so well! Just as the married couple themselves do 🥰⁣ ⁣

🍌🛶 Plantain Boats 🛶🍌 ⁣

So happy with how my first attempt at cooking with plantain turned out 😍 Technically my secomd time as I had difficulties recording the first time around (I literally screamed into a pillow, show of hands if you feel my pain🤣)⁣
⁣
Due to this, the filling isn’t as fresh! Still pleased with the taste and end result 🤤 Inspired by the plantain queen herself and host of the collab @eatwithsylvs I made a few adjustments to her recipe and added my own style of rice 🍅🍚🌶 May have gone a BIT too crazy with the spices but I can handle the heat 🥵⁣

I really need to try more Greek food because this was sensational 🇬🇷 ⁣⁣

About a week ago I ordered the chicken souvlaki (£8.50) from @eliagreekfood The chicken was so succulent and juicy 🤤 I loved that it came with chips inside 🍟 and salads too (we love a balanced diet 🤪) ⁣

All wrapped up in Greek pitta and bought together by their secret sauce with a sprinkle of paprika to finish 👌🏽⁣

Although the onions and tomatoes were on the chunkier side, I know to mention for my next order 😌⁣⁣

Lovely little set up in @buckstreetmarket and beautiful day to munch away 🥰 ⁣⁣

Thank you to @juicejunkiezuk for inviting my bestie and I to try out your waffles; this was my first time trying vegan waffles and it did not disappoint! ⁣⁣

Everything from the batch to the toppings was completely fresh, just the way it should be 🤤 ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Of course I had to opt for @lotusbiscoffuk waffle with strawberry and banana 🍌🍓 (£6.50) 🤩 Top tier combination to be honest 👌🏽 ⁣⁣

We also had the strawberry and Oreo waffle (£6.50) 🍓🍫 which was just as lush ☺️ ⁣⁣

I donut know what’s going on with the weather right now 🤣😭 ⁣

Sometimes when the weather is this gloomy, you just need to pick up a warm drink & some sexy snacks and park the car up and just enjoy the view 😍⁣
⁣
My friend took me to one of her favourite vegan zero waste supermarket and cafe in Brighton @kindlybrighton where we picked up some delicious donuts £2.50 🍩 and hot beverages £2.95 ☕️ ⁣
⁣
I, of course picked the @lotusbiscoffuk donut and when I say it was THE BEST donut I’ve ever had I truly mean it! As soon as we finished I wanted another 🤣 Had we not picked the last one, I would have driven back for some more 🤤 ⁣

The weather forecast has done a full 180° on us 😩 ⁣

Typical British weather for it to be 22° one week and snow prediction the next 😭⁣

Here’s a pic of me being overly excited by the beautiful sunny day we had on Tuesday 😌 ⁣

I met my friend and we grabbed some food from @camdenmarketldn then picked up iced green tea with lemonade from @starbucksuk 🍋 and finished the day with a walk around Regent’s Park ⁣
⁣
We discovered this lovely spot which is opposite the Japanese waterfall ⛲️ Sat under the weeping willow, sipping our stresses away and taking in the sunshine and ALL the stunning scenes 😍⁣
⁣
I hope you all had a lovely week and made the most of the gorgeous few days we had, many more to come 💛⁣
