Here is our magical baby! Starting with the simple prompt of 'Keeping the traditional alive', Ama-Zine, @comicconafrica now has its first-ever comic exclusively produced live at the show. I do a page through of the full book, then show highlights and how the book was made.

Our hands stained with ink, our sleep deprived, our hearts full. This amazing team took simple pencil-drawn comics and turned them into a gorgeous riso-printed zine. The first ever comic drawn, edited, printed and bound at @comicconafrica. @casey.tash was a true hero with her ceaseless dedication to craft and @publicpress.cc loaned us their amazing printer Presston to get the work done! @morayrhoda crafted this vision and brought us together and I sacrificed a hand, and laid out the book!

So proud of everyone! by @raywhitcher

I'm doing another prompt challenge, this time about colour association. For red, you probably thought I'd pick Deadpool, but how boring! Instead, I picked the Psycho Marine Captain from Space King! (No girls allowed). I love that WH40K has failed its own satire so hard that it took an entirely new property to lampoon the original.

@flashgitz I'm totally up for a collab, just saying. ;)

Following the prompts by @/_ksgi, I made my list of favourite characters! Favourite by design is definitely Captain Fordo form Clone Wars Classic - Stefan De Stefano was on top form, and while I prefer the Phase 1 helmet, anyone that's watched this series knows the unforgettable scene I've referenced here. :) by @raywhitcher

Following the prompts by @/_ksgi, I made my list of favourite characters! My comfort character has to be Batman Beyond - I've drawn him more than any other character, made shirts, own rare statues and figurines... He's vitally important to me. Also, the series is just incredible! by @raywhitcher

Following the prompts by @/_ksgi, I made my list of favourite characters! Current favourite is most certainly HR Rep Skeletor from MOTU 2026. I laughed, cried, laugh cried and was just delighted by this sequence. This motivated me to get back into cosplay, so watch this space! by @raywhitcher

Following the prompts by @/_ksgi, I made my list of favourite characters! If you've been taught by, or met me for 5 minutes, you'll know that Bruce Timm's Batman is and always will be my favourite character of all time. He's the reason I love comics and animation, got me through my worst days and inspires me to draw to this day. by @raywhitcher

Following the prompts by @/_ksgi, I made my list of favourite characters! Guilty favourite is definitely Ryuko Matoi from Kill La Kill - the controversial, subversive and genre bending anime was so inspiring that I even cross played as her many years and kilograms ago! by @raywhitcher

Following the prompts by @/_ksgi, I made my list of favourite characters! Favourite by plot has to be Gwenpool! The 4th wall using (she has the power to control comic pages and panels), rule breaking super fan is such a genius idea. Her creator, @heatherantos is also one of the coolest people I've ever met! :) by @raywhitcher

I realised I never posted this! Fanart of the amazing Artillery Witch from @trench_crusade I've been terrible with sharing art in general, but now that my mental health is slowly recovering, I feel worthy enough to do it again. :)
