I’m incredibly happy and honestly a little overwhelmed to finally share that I’ve been accepted into Strathmore as part of the Artist in Residence class of 2027 cohort.
It’s difficult to put into words what this opportunity means to me. Music has always been a place of curiosity, connection, and discovery for me, but the path to becoming a musician is rarely a straight one. There have been so many moments of doubt, learning, starting over, and simply trying to keep moving forward. To have this work recognized and to be given the opportunity to spend time learning, creating, performing, and growing alongside such an inspiring group of musicians feels incredibly special. @musicbytomas @maahatti @asmithmusic2020 @julius_fiddles
@mventura731
There’s a lot of excitement in this announcement, but there’s also a lot of gratitude.
Gratitude for the people who have listened, encouraged me, played music with me, challenged me, showed up to performances, offered a kind word, or simply believed in what I was doing when I wasn’t entirely sure myself.
I don’t take any of that for granted.
Thank you to @strathmorearts for this opportunity, and thank you to everyone who has helped me get here including my band @_devron @chchchcharlie_ ❤️

I know I haven’t posted in a while but it’s honestly because It’s been such a beautiful start to the summer for me. I’ve been busy and blessed to meet new friends and colleagues in this industry. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have worked on such a beautiful show called “pray” at Baltimore center stage as musician and associate music director these past few months. There’s so much more to come. Thanks to everyone who’s come out to support me and those of you who continue to support me on my artistic journey. taken in Baltimore Center Stage by @raywinder

Big Thanks to @parityhomes and @tsand.png for sponsoring this weeks porch concert!

If you would like to host a porch concert, send me a DM or email me at edhrybyk@gmail.com ❤️🎶 I still have dates in August that I desperately need porches for!

Charm City Porch Concerts are held every other Wednesday evening on a different Baltimore City porch or residence.

I am actively looking for local individuals, organizations, or businesses to sponsor concerts all over the city. It’s a great way to market your business while giving back to a local community.

Bring a chair and enjoy some live music in the neighborhood
