Well, 2025 is almost over. I didn't take many pictures or videos this year, I think I spent more time progressing myself than the car.

I got a bit of a welding fixation while trying to teach myself how to tig weld stuff and working on side projects. getting more comfortable using my grandpas old mill and lathe has expanded my abilities a ton as well.

The second and third pic are of the in-tank fuel pump hanger set-up I made and my dusty old fuel tank with the new hanger and a new level sensor in it. 😁

Here's what my s13 rack conversion looks like now that it's all been finished up and has a few miles on it. It's all jammed in there pretty tight and took way more work than anticipated, but I couldn't be happier with how much nicer the car is to drive. I was going to add pictures from the top, but all you can see is downpipe, heatshields, and brake lines 😅

For my rb swapped car, the conversion required:
- rack mounts welded on to crossmember
- Modified clamp to position the rack forward
-custom made steering shaft
- spherical bearing to support the column
-new downpipe
- more heat shields
-spline extender on the rack
-relocating brake lines and proportioning valve
-an extra tie rod adjuster sleeve
-z31 inner tie rods narrow body starion outers
-high pressure AN hoses and fittings
-probably some other stuff im forgetting
-lots of messages with others sharing ideas on how to make it all work best

All back together and even cleaned up a bit, ready for more abuse in two weeks on street machine weekend. 🙂 a month later than I had hoped but it is now converted to s13 rack and pinion steering and is free of its sloppy steering box and drag link. Slowly becoming more of a nissan than a mitsubishi. 😅
