Was commissioned to make some album art. We worked with two ideas and this is the one that didn’t make the cut. But I just love it so much.

It’s playing with the idea of feeling like nothing is real, and also death and rebirth, and also the art of having a sense of hope in the midst of existential despair. by @rbayron

If I were to go back in time to any version of me that existed over the past like 15 years and described my current life, he would likely start making changes to avoid landing here.

That being said, I love my life. It’s simple, it’s doable, it contains everything I want my life to contain, there’s movement towards goals, and most importantly, there’s so much joy. by @rbayron

After my last exploration, I found myself at a creative square one again. I’d climbed the Curiosity Tree and reached the end of a branch, and it was time to jump.

It started as a @lego micro scale appliance. So I made another one - but this time, my A/C unit.

Only, my last exploraron apparently still had some stored momentum, which spilled out all over this one. It became an extended diorama of not just my floor, but an entire wall. by @rbayron

I’m pretty sure this rabbit hole has no bottom. Not content with miniaturizing objects, I miniaturized the space they inhabit. A @lego mini scale recreation of the scene of the crime.

This was me at the tail end of a family vacation.

Brix was looking so big and I was just so smitten, I wanted to take a photo.

I was SO tired, I got as far as actually taking this photo before realizing I was using the wrong-facing camera 🤦‍♂️

But I like it cause you can see said smittage. And said tired. But mostly, the smit.
