Arabian pudding 🍮

Ingredients:
Milk - 2 cups
Sugar - 3 tbsp (or to taste)
Custard powder - 2 tbsp
Bread slices - 6-8
Fresh cream - 1/2 cup
Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
Almonds - for garnish (chopped)

Method:

Make custard:
Warm 2 cups milk in a pan, add sugar and mix.
In a small bowl, mix custard powder with little cold milk (no lumps).
Add this mix to the warm milk and stir continuously on low flame till it thickens slightly. Let it cool a bit.

Make cream mix:
In a bowl, mix fresh cream + condensed milk together well.

Assemble:
Cut the corners / edges of the bread slices.
Place a layer of bread in a dish.
Pour the custard mix over it and spread evenly.
On top, add the fresh cream & condensed milk mix.

Garnish & Chill:
Garnish with chopped almonds.
Freeze / refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

Enjoy cold! 🤍

Save this for later ✨
