Black Art on the Move: Red Bike & Green mural Ride with Refa One Join us Saturday, October 10th at 12 PM for a powerful and inspiring mural cycling tour through Oakland, celebrating the legendary art of the Aerosoul crew with visual artist, educator, and director of the AeroSoul mural collective, Refa One. Refa One is a native of the Bay Area whose iconic works include the Oscar Grant mural at Fruitvale BART and numerous historic Black Panther Party murals across Oakland. For decades, Refa has been using public art to uplift, educate, and transform communities through a bold lens of social justice and Black cultural pride. This tour is led by Red Bike & Green and is exclusively for the Black/African community — an intentional space to connect, ride, and reflect with the artist himself. We’ll meet at King Makers of Oakland at 1035 7th street at 12 noon and roll together through West Oakland, stopping at over a dozen murals along the way. It’s a slow-roll, beginner-friendly ride designed to be welcoming for cyclists of all levels. Ride ends at LIFE IS LIVING FESTIVAL * Live Q & A with Refa One * A journey through art, history, and healing * Community connection and celebration * Black joy on bikes This is more than a bike ride — it’s a moving tribute to Black Art, Black Love, and Black Liberation. Free to attend. Exclusively for the Black community Good vibes guaranteed. We can’t wait to ride with you! by @rbgoakland

🎶 It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood ... 🎶 🚲☀️ High 80s? What heat?! 😎 We rolled the Iron Horse Trail from Pleasant Hill BART to Dublin/Pleasanton BART like it was just another Saturday. We soaked up the shaded trail, stocked rest stops, bike ed; cooled off at a local watering hole; & then tackled a gravel detour. Lead by example... ride it, don’t walk it! 😂 Best part? More Black Bike Joy. ✊🏾 One rider crushed their longest ride ever & first time on the Iron Horse Trail, while we swapped stories about bike camping, freedom & the kindness found on two wheels. #rbgoakland #BlackBikeJoy #IronHorseTrail #UrbanBlackRiders #RideBikes by @rbgoakland
