Getting to race at @indianapolismotorspeedway was an absolute blast and a bucket list item checked off the list! Going 155mph in a 1969 Camaro is a wild experience! And while I wish I could have been a little more competitive this weekend, it felt great to finally blow the dust off the Camaro and run an event! I had the fastest GTV road course time in session 1 but had a piece of fan belt take out a speed sensor wire (we fixed it) and was late to grid in session 2. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to join the session late and missed out on a time. So this was cool! My 1:36.170 on the left and dads 1:36.099 on the right! Fast enough for the top two non-outlaw lap times of the weekend! He flew through the corkscrew (I now know why we need to replace the side skirts after every race) but I reeled it back in through 10 and 11. Pretty cool to see what these @katech_inc powered hot rods can do with @vikingperformance and @afterdarkspeed providing the grip! #driveusca #driveoptima by @rbreezee88

Epic weekend at @weathertechraceway Laguna Seca with @driveusca Even though I felt like I left a lot on the table, it’s always a great time hanging out with family and friends! Congrats to @lisaberrysaur for taking home the GTL win! And of course, thanks @rickracer17 @tbreezee63 @elizabeth_ray10 for all of the help along the way! Pretty cool to fly in for the weekend and race with my favorite people! I also believe dad and I got the top two non-outlaw times with a 1:36.0 and a 1:36.1! After our Road America event for last weekend was canceled, a handful of us decided to sign up to run an SCCA Time Trial event at Putnam Park Road Course. The beauty of Putnam Park is that it's just over 30 minutes from our house. We had an absolute blast on track even though we all fought through some mechanical demons over the two days. As much fun as running the cars was, having everyone stay at our house Saturday night was even better. Tons of laughs and breaking bread with friends is priceless in our book!
