Good Afternoon Fellow Rotarians

The recent overflow of the Dayi River has caused severe flooding in Hohoe Zongo, displacing over 5,000 families and leaving many without shelter, livelihoods, and basic necessities.

On behalf of the Hohoe Flood Disaster Committee, established by District Governor Jack Andrews Dotsey,PhD, there is an appeal to every Club to contribute a *minimum of GHS 1,000 *towards the District’s relief effort.

Individual contributions to the District Fund are also encouraged, both in cash and kind, from Rotarians and friends of Rotary.

As Rotary Club of Accra Cantonments, we also need to contribute our quota. I therefore want to urge every member of the club to send any amount towards this initiative.
