September 2026 Thanksgiving Service
Ministering: Pastor Enoch Adeboye
Topic: Wonderful, Counselor
Text: Isaiah 9:6

Message
Jesus is called by many names.
The resurrection and the life, the way, truth and life, the good shepherd, and in our text today we see five names.
But our focus today is on Wonderful, Counselor.
The word ‘Wonderful’ is a combination of ‘Wonder’ and ‘full’.
It means full of wonder.
Our God is full of wonders, and we can see various examples in the Bible.
In Luke 1: 26-38- a virgin conceiving by the Holy Ghost is a wonder.
In Matt 14:22-23 - walking on water is a wonder.
When God does wonders, he breaks protocols for your sake.
We see that happen in Matt 8:1-4.
More than doing wonders for you, God can make you a Wonder.
In Mark 5:2-20, we see the raving mad man turned into a wonder after his healing.
*I pray for you that this month, God will do something for you and make you a wonder to the world.
* Next time I hear of you, you will have a wonderful story to tell
* I pray for you, you will weep no more!
*Anyone here trusting God for a miracle, God will surprise you!
Proverbs 15:22 teaches us the importance of counsel.
Counsel provides wisdom to act.
Jesus displayed mighty wisdom in dealing with people.
(Matt 22:16-22, John 8:3-11)
3 counsels from the Bible that will help your life:
• Rejoice evermore
• Pray without ceasing
• In everything, give thanks
Now, we ask, who is an advocate?
An advocate is someone who stands for you, when you run into trouble.
The Bible in 1 John 2:1 assures us that we have an advocate in God, if we ever fall into sin.
And Romans 8:31-34 tells us that the counsel of the Lord shall stand!
There are various kinds of counsel- good and bad.
There are many advocates, but there is only One advocate.
The One who will admit that His defendants is guilty and still give Himself as a ransom for their sins- Only God!
Jesus has paid the price for your sins.
All you have to do is accept His sacrifice, and walk freely as a new man in Him.
Come to Jesus today, His shed blood has washed away your sins. by @rccghopehall

Theme: The high calling
Topic: I choose to press on
Ministering: Pastor Kunle Adedeji
Text: Philippians 3:12-14
Message
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 3:14; kjv.)
As defined within the topic of our message today, we see that Paul, a great missionary and evangelist, was expressing to us the joy and willingness to keep up with doing the will of God. It is important to note that he recognized his own inadequacy.
His expression shows that it shouldn't be about perfection before we act right, but it should be about being willing to walk with God and be sustained in God's presence.
Why we need to press on
We have to press on because we know that Jesus Christ has already made a way for us. Paul wanted believers to be conscious of the need to keep pressing on.
Four things we should hold on to;
*All about knowing Christ. Like the story of the woman with the issue of blood. Her healing came when she got an encounter with Jesus Christ.
In James 2: 23; “And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.” (kjv).
*We need to have spiritual focus.
Philippians 3:13; Paul said one thing he did...forgetting those things that are behind.
He encourages us to set goals for ourselves and look ahead.
*Embark on a daily race.
There are things we need to learn in the place of patience.
*Remember God's word, that He makes all things beautiful in his time, not man's time.
Be conscious of the revelation that God has for you today, because the one of yesterday may not be relevant for today.
We are encouraged to have a constant reminder to keep pressing on; it is the only sure way to victory through Christ Jesus. by @rccghopehall

RCCG August 2026 Thanksgiving Service
Topic: Divine Champions
Ministering: Pastor E. A. Adeboye
Text: Matthew 24:11-13
Message
Life is war!
From the day a child is born, the war begins.
Life is so full of trouble; even a new baby begins life crying.
Life is a continuous wrestling match. Ephesians 6:12
Who is a champion?
From the boxing perspective, a champion is the one who remains standing after the bout is over, with his hands raised in victory.
In boxing, to be a champion, you need:
1. Strength
2. Wisdom
3. A very good coach
4. Strength
Many times, you discover your strength isn't enough. You can't tell how strong a person is, by looking at them.
If you will be a real champion, you need Jesus to give you strength in the day of trouble. 1 Samuel 2:9
Even if you have some strength, you can grow weary. But the Lord gives strength to the weary.
Isaiah 40:29-31
2. In the battle of life, you need wisdom.
No matter how strong you are, if you don't have wisdom, you will lose.
When heading into the battle of life, have God by your side - He gives wisdom to the wise. Daniel 2:22
3. A good coach will guide you.
• They won't allow you to be careless.
• A good coach is not necessarily your friend. A friend likes you for you, but a good coach is never satisfied with the way you are.
• A good coach will inspire you and keep directing you on what to do.
The best coach you can ever have is Jesus. John 16:24
• It takes a good coach to let you know that immediately after a victory, your enemy goes to war.
• A good coach sees the blow coming and warns you before it hits you.
• Your coach is the one who teaches you not to take no for an answer.
Keep on asking until your joy is full. Proverbs 24:16
You cannot claim to be a real champion until you finish on earth.
You need the Coach to keep on inspiring you, to let you know that the battle isn't over until you finish on earth.
To be a divine champion:
You need strength - lasting strength that only God can give.
You need wisdom - only God can give you wisdom; He knows all the parameters.
You need a good Coach - you need Jesus. by @rccghopehall

Text: Matthew 11: 28-30
Message
I want to share with you a foundational truth for us as humans and as believers. Take direction from the word of God, and be guided by His truth.
You also need to understand that there must be a structure in your life. However, one of our problems is that we resist structure.
You cannot have the light of God in you, and you say that someone is manipulating you. It means you are belittling the power of God in you. Look closely and be sure that you are guided by structure. When there is government, the glory of God will manifest.
In the Church, there is a structure; how people should compose themselves and act.
Matthew 11:28 says.... “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (KJV).
Jesus was saying that people who are heavy-laden should come to him for rest.
As Nigerians, we labour indeed...let's take driving around the city of Lagos, for instance. The State is small, but the traffic jam makes it a huge labour to drive around the city.
Still talking about structure, as a Christian, there are some things that you cannot do. Then, there are things the Bible charges you to do as a Christian.
Jesus says to Christians that his ways will give them rest.
Jesus Christ gives these constraints so that there could be order and structure, to make the glory of God manifest.
Again, 1 Corinthians 14:40 gives the charge: "Let all things be done decently and in order.” (kjv).
Acts 3:1 says "Peter and John went up together into the Temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour." It shows a structure of time to do things. And, you must put order in your life and set things up properly.
"And he said unto them, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." This was Jesus speaking in Matthew 4:19. He gave a promise that for those who would follow him, he would prosper their souls.
You can also note that when you establish an order, your body follows, because you have created a template. It is a natural principle that works with structure and order.

Message
It takes faith to be a man, because we live in very challenging times.
We can see that the dynamics of fatherhood is changing fast.
The reality today is that so many men are running away from responsibility. And we can relate it to the fathers as well.
No doubt, men face enormous challenges, even in marriages. But every father needs to realise he must stand up and take his position.
The truth is that, a father represents so many things; a servant, a provider, a shield, and more.
As we look at the father today, many basic things are established.
In all of these discussions, it is sad that a lot of children do not have fathers to look up to. It is so different from what obtained in our society before this period; the community trained a child.
In Psalm 103:13, the scripture says: “Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.”
We understand that fathers are called to be emotionally and spiritually present in their children's lives. This helps a child grow up well.
Today, many fathers hardly have time to express their love to their children by saying "I love you." But we see how deep God’s love is shown to us daily.
I charge you all fathers, please tell your children how much you love them. Act it, not just saying it.
In Luke 15: 20-24, we read about the story of the prodigal son. When the son decided to go back to his father, he was afraid, but his father welcomed him wholeheartedly. The father did not give up on his son.
It is important for us to understand that the father's action portrayed the heart of God towards us his children.
Fathers must not shy away from their responsibility. They must initiate conversations to enable their children speak about all issues bothering their minds.
God has placed leadership positions on fathers.
Ezekiel 22:30 says “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”
God spoke in this scripture saying he sought for a man who would stand and build tha by @rccghopehall

Every week we walk through the doors of RCCG Hope Hall carrying different things - different worries, different battles. But the moment praise begins, something shifts. Burdens lift, heart soften, and suddenly we are all in the same place - at His feet.

That is the power of corporate worship and we never take it for granted.
