Happy Release Day 🎉

You Hold Onto Me (Psalm 31) was originally an idea that lived in a voice memo from Caleb to Lauren. After a few ideas back and forth, the Lord gifted us this song. Over the past year, It has become an anchor of truth for many in difficult seasons.

Even before we began dreaming up our live record - “Nearer Still” - this version of YHOM was crafted by some of our amazing musicians, and we thought it was about time to give it to you guys.

Hope you guys enjoy a little bit more of a celebratory take on the same anchoring truths - His hold on you is far greater than your hold on Him. by @rccmusic

Back in September, a group of our Redeemer musicians spent a weekend in Ohatchee, AL recording this live project of original songs inspired by the Psalms, and in TWO DAYS we will finally get to share them with you guys. “Nearer Still” will be available on 2/6 wherever you stream music. by @rccmusic

The hearts of the people shown here are some of the most humble I’ve ever known. They are artists full of talent, and yet their man aim is to worship the One who made a way for us to be with Him forever. I couldn’t be more grateful for each of them, and even more so for how the Lord showed up to meet each of us and all those who were present with us this weekend. It was so evident that He was in our midst. What a way to prepare our hearts for the days to come.

If you have a chance to share with one of the people pictured above about how God met you through the services this weekend, I’d love for you to consider sharing with them. I truly believe there’s no better “thank you” for this crew than hearing about the eternal work of God experienced through the offering of art they brought this weekend.

To my team: I’ve already said all the things to you, but know that I couldn’t love you guys more. I’m so proud of y’all.

✨ GLORY ✨

First introduced at last year’s Nine Lessons & Carols, this song walks through the very human moments of Jesus’ birth. Glory reminds us that God chose to step into our story in the most ordinary and vulnerable way. The One who would redeem all things arrived as a blood-soaked newborn, carrying both the weight of heaven and the fullness of humanity. Through Him, we are invited into that larger story of hope and restoration.

We hope this song helps you slow down, remember the God who draws near, and see His glory in the places you least expect it. by @rccmusic
