11:12pm New Year’s Eve 2024, my close friends @obnlife , @jakesbipolar and I decided to hit a construction site in North Sydney, I got word of a couple of other boys having the same idea and decided to link with some new faces @s1nthh and @sarkz._ , we all arrived early to secure one of the best spots to watch the fireworks in Sydney, while waiting on the crane a group of about four guys on a night out partying have come to the top and approached us saying they’ve come to watch the fireworks too, with the clock reaching 12 some of us climbed the jib some of us didn’t, words can’t describe the view that came next.

From clear skies to getting stuck in a storm, while we were making our way up this trail, the locals warned us saying that going up now wasn’t a good idea, we decided otherwise, ended up seeking shelter under a tree for an hour haha, hoping it would clear for sunset.

Hours and hours go by sitting on the cold steel surfaces of the trains trying to maintain our body warmth during some of the coldest weeks in Australia, being exposed to the sound of the wheels screeching the tracks we started to hear each others voices talking when no one was, after a long journey covering most of the railroad tracks here we decided to end it in Alice Springs, a place where everyone I know personally hasn’t been due to the remote and rough living or just used to the city life.
