POSTS STORIES REELS

During our recent joint fellowship with the Rotary Club of Ngong Road, we had the pleasure of hosting District Governor Saad Rahman, D9215, for an engaging speaker session that gave us a glimpse of a different side of our District Governor.

Beyond the leadership, responsibilities and official engagements, we got to connect with the person behind the role, hear his experiences, share a few laughs and enjoy meaningful conversations.

💙💛 NGONG ROAD BROUGHT THE ENERGY… AND DG SAAD BROUGHT THE SELFIE! 📸😎

When Rotary meets Rotaract, you already know the fellowship is going to be NEXT LEVEL! 🔥🙌

District Governor Saad Rahman joined the Rotary Club of Nairobi Ngong Road and Rotaract Club of Ngong Road for a vibrant joint fellowship filled with warm conversations, laughter, great connections, and the unmistakable spirit of Rotary! 💙💛

🤝 Two generations of changemakers. One shared purpose. Unlimited possibilities!

The evening was a beautiful reminder that Rotary's strength lies not just in the projects we undertake, but in the friendships we build, the ideas we exchange, and the generations we inspire to serve.

👏 A massive shout out to RC Ngong Road and RAC Ngong Road for bringing together the energy of Rotaract and the experience of Rotary in one memorable fellowship!

And of course… did the DG really visit if there wasn't a selfie? 🤳😂

📸 THE SIGNATURE DG SELFIE STRIKES AGAIN! Another club visit, another priceless moment for the District 9215 memory bank!

What is the true engine of Rotary? 🔥

Its members.

Last evening at our joint fellowship, DG Saad Rahman reminded us that without human hands there is no service, and without open hearts there is no fellowship. Thank you to AG Bea for joining us too.

Our takeaways:
✨ Retention is empathy in action. Pull up a chair for someone.
✨ Four pillars to 2030: Membership, The Foundation, Rotaractors, Peace.
✨ Rotaractors are partners today, not only leaders of tomorrow.
✨ Clear communication turns goodwill into momentum.

What legacy will you leave when your name is called? 💛

Every other week, we show up. 🎉

100 days in, and this is the heartbeat of our club. Talks that make us think, panels that get us talking, and a room full of people who feel like family.

We've learned about protecting what matters, asked what we'd tell our younger selves, and shared the stage with our Rotaract family. And we've done it together.

Because it was never about the pin. It's the people. 💛💙

Next week, it's our directors' turn to tell their stories.

100 days in, and we are celebrating the moments that created lasting impact. 🎉

Let's rewind to 29 August, because then came the homecoming! 🔥

Good food. Good friends. Good music. And a President welcomed home in the best way possible. We also cheered our Rotaract club on to their first ever sports day tournament win.

It was a night full of laughter, and it came with a purpose: the proceeds support the Ablution Block Project at Olturoto Comprehensive School.

Fun with a cause is our favourite kind. 💛💙

100 days in, and look how far we’ve come! 🎉💙🧡

From coming up with creative fundraising ideas to rallying support, every contribution has helped move us closer to our goal.

Then came the ground breaking at Olturoto, with song, dance and plenty of joy! A moment to celebrate not just how far we’ve come, but what we can achieve when we pull together.

We’re now at 85%, and every step is bringing us closer to creating lasting impact.

Good people. Great teamwork. Endless possibilities. Here’s to the journey so far and everything still to come! 🙌🏽

100 days in, and we are celebrating the moments that created lasting impact. 🎉

So let's press rewind. First stop: the night 11 clubs came together to host our District Governor.

It was loud in the best way. Warm, a little chaotic, full of familiar faces and new ones. And honestly, it was never about the pin. It was the people. Being seen, being heard, and knowing you belong.

Same people, same warmth, and so much more still to come. 💛💙

This Mashujaa Day, we celebrate the heroes of yesterday and today.

We remember the people who fought for Kenya’s freedom. We also salute the everyday heroes who keep that spirit alive with courage, kindness, and a little help for someone who needs it.

Heroes aren’t always loud. Sometimes they’re just the ones who show up.

Who’s a hero in your life? Tag them below and tell us why.

25 May 2022,

28 people.

A club was chartered.

No big budget. No guarantee it would work. Just a shared belief that we could do more together than alone.

Four years on:
We showed up in Mai Mahiu when families lost everything to the floods.

We opened a library at Masala so children could hold books of their own.

We donated wheelchairs at @edmundricecentrenairobi , and sat with parents and caregivers for mentoring and counselling, because they need care too.

We brought cheers and smiles to the pupils at St. Stephen’s this Christmas.

We’re rallying around Olturoto
Comprehensive School so children can learn with dignity, one brick at a time.

We’re partnering with @mama.cbo to bring safe maternal and child services to the mothers of Orus.

We planted trees and put down roots, in the ground and with each other.

Somewhere between the projects, strangers became family.

Four years in, every project a life a little better.
Endless Possibilities to create lasting impact. 💛
