The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and RCSJ salute former Roadrunner Athlete McKenna Dowd, Class of 2019, on #NJCAADay.

McKenna, a star soccer, basketball, and track athlete for Roadrunner Athletics, currently serves as a teacher and soccer coach at Deptford Township High School and has made a positive impact on the local Deptford community.

Said McKenna about her experience at Rowan College of Gloucester County (RCGC):

"Attending RCGC was the best decision I ever made! It allowed me to continue playing the three sports I love while having my family's support close to home. My experience inspired my passion for coaching and staying involved in sports. I always recommend RCGC to my current student-athletes!"

The NJCAA celebrates the 10th anniversary of NJCAA Day on Thursday, Oct. 15, highlighting a decade of celebrating the opportunities, achievements and impact of two-year college athletics.

Roadrunner Athletics joins the NJCAA in spotlighting the many ways our Roadrunner student-athletes, coaches, administrators and alumni are using the opportunities created through junior college athletics to become leaders, serve their communities and make an impact beyond competition.
