RSX updates day 4. Took a little road trip to NC today. Ended up getting a full black interior swap. Don't get me wrong, I honestly don't dislike the titanium interior but with the upcoming plans, there's only one option. by @rcrrsx

Car is running well. Some upcoming work we're gonna do:

-Exedy Stage 1 clutch/throw out bearing and EM2 master cylinder.

-Get suspension geometry more usable. Car is a little too low currently.

-condenser fan and fan switch replacement

-New wheels and tires (surprise)

-New interior goodies

-Safety updates

-Hondata K-Pro

Day 3 of getting this RSX TypeS roadworthy for my daughter's first car. Today we're going to try and remedy the hood paint of this DC5. As most Honda owners know, 24 year old Honda paint isn't the greatest. Today we're going to try to remedy this with the SprayMax 2k paint. This is a true 2 part aerosol clear that requires puncturing an activator button on the bottom of the can. We did get some custom touch up paint mixed in a fingernail polish style brush form and it is slightly darker than the OE paint. The clear did turn out great and from a few feet away the touch up paint looks alright too. Thanks for watching, look out for episode 4.

Today's episode we'll be changing the resistor and blower motor. It's a pretty simple job, took about 20 minutes or so. There's about 131k miles on this one so why not change both when you're in here? The beauty about Honda parts is: they're dirt cheap! Thanks for watching, we'll be adding some more interesting updates soon!

Hint: fresh wheels, raising the suspension a little, and some lighting upgrades.

Follow along as we get this RSX Type S roadworthy to be my daughter's first car. We picked up this RSX for a pretty good price. The car needs some work but weve got some time. We're preparing the car for the upcoming 2027 Red Clay Rally Tarmac next fall. This is a 3 day, 300 mile rally Through VA, TN and NC. Hopefully we will have some of the more serious things squared away by then and some nice goodies to compliment our spirited driving as well. On this episode we'll be swapping out the driver side Transmission mount. The old mount was a little shredded to say the least so it was time. This isn't a technical page and we're really just documenting our endeavor to make the car a reliable daily while doing some tasteful mods as well . Most of the installed mods are nice, but it's not to the level we want it. As we progress, we will be changing several things to make the RSX both more drivable and more fun.
