NEW EPISODE: Premieres Sunday, July 12th, at 10am EST (link in bio):

“Discover The Bowie Khukri Barong Hybrid | RMJ Tactical Sapper Bowie Knife | Linton Custom Camp Bowie Knife”

https://youtu.be/oSmghh0y8eU?is=4IKseFGyUxwqCc7S

Bowie Knife Fighting has long sought the near mythological cleaving capabilities of the Khukri knife and the Barong Sword. Knife Designer Chris Linton has created a hybrid that integrates the best in all three. Named The Camp Bowie, the design was picked up for production by legendary tomahawk maker, RMJ Tactical. The production version is called The Sapper Bowie.

In this episode I am looking to explore:
- the specific transitions from one design template to another
- best handling options
- speed and liveliness capabilities

A very powerful and ambitious design, come watch the episode and explore the unique strengths of this innovative Bowie/Khukri/Barong Design.

I hope you enjoy this video! 🙏🏽🔥👊🏽

The Bowie Khukri - in 80Crv2 with an acid etched and two tone patina finish, exceptionally executed by Christopher Linton @ospreyknifeandtool. On loan from my good friend and bladesman @rdburkh.art.

Paired with the impeccable @myfathercigars Le Bijou 1922 in torpedo vitola.

Much to study. Much.

The RMJ Gym Rat - an underrated design that has caught my attention. Months of study of this specific design has prepared me for this series.

On this day in 2017 Aldo stayed a week with me in Georgia to see what R&D testing I had run in private until I posted this demonstrating the extremes Nitro V could handle, in this case water quenching a stainless from 1,950°.

Water quenched Nitro V, there's a trick to this:
Plain municipal water heated to just below boiling flash boils off the water (H2O)in the vapor jacket, creating free Oxygen (O2), and ignites creating a concussion that works in place of a couple tonnes plate or atmospheric quenching.

All in a day's work; it's a principle to shine, but rarely be seen. by @rdburkh.art

Anyone talking smack about the effectiveness of melee combatives in today's warzone gets a paddling.
