I've been at my dads house for about a week now for the first time since his passing 7 months ago. So many mixed emotions, I feel like I'm house sitting waiting for him to come home. I feel at peace and at home, because he did just that, prepared and left this as a home for when he left us. Sitting in the kitchen looking at the empty chair he sat in to eat breakfast, I used his daily coffee cup ☕️ this morning. Thank you daddy for giving me a home 🏡 away from home. It's been 7 months to the day. You are so missed 😪. There's not ONE day that goes by I don't think of you. I hear your voice so clearly, I see your face so vividly.
