So I've done a thing! It's was an amazing thing that included some rough moments, one or two tears and a huge helping of joy and gratitude! I am actually flying the friendly skies and loving every minute of it...I can feel the shift in my energy, have regained a purpose that honestly alluded me for some time. I met some amazing people that I know will be friends for the rest of my life and I cannot wait for what's ahead! There really is so much I cant see but I am beyond thankful to get to wonder the ruins of ISA...a Cuban school of the arts that was only partially conpleted. The architecture is just otherwordly! Eventhough incomplete due to the changing priorities of the government, it shows the insane skill, talent, know how and artistry that is running through the veins of every Cuban. Sure, not everyone is an architect or can build such amazing structures, but they can also cook, dance, paint, dream and make the impossible possible... I have had the privilege of experiencing "luxury" in this lifetime, but its hard to beat the feeling of a light workout on a breezy balcony overlooking the Malecon and then enjoying the best coffee I have EVER had!
