Donnor left us yesterday afternoon peacefully in the backyard 🖤 everyone who got to meet Donnor knows how sweet and loving he was. He would almost knock you over trying to rub his face into your body. His howl would bring laughter and smiles. He thrived in the snow and loved his wet food and treats. He was my soul dog and life will never be the same without him here with me. It truly feels like half of my heart left me yesterday. It never feels like enough cuddles, kisses, walks, hikes or hugs could have happened because his time with me felt so short. My sweet boy, I hope you are no longer in pain and living in a snowy wonderland 🖤 I love you forever 🐾🦴 by @rea.elyssia

lagree single leg squat 🫶🏻

spring options: 1W, 1W1B, 1B, 1G, 1W1G

how to: working leg is on the front platform. keep a slight bend at knee on working leg, send that ass down and back like you’re sitting in a chair, you naturally hinge forward, knee staying over ankle. keep shoulders rolled back, chin away from chest, neck in line with spine, hands at heart center or behind head. drive through heel, squeeze glutes and keep time under tension by not locking out your knee at the top. everybody’s lowest point is different, as long as your form doesn’t break and you lower back isn’t hurting you, you’re okay!

non working leg: staggered behind you on the carriage, in the corner of the carriage closest to the mirrors/back of house, heel is lifted, leg have a slight bend at knee. this leg is just along for the ride unless you bring in a variation that moves it!

some of our favorite variations: staying low on working leg, non working leg drags in carriage stopping before it touches the front platform then sending it back out. Option to keep carriage close to front platform and bring in squats, RDL or pulses.
slow pulses at lowest point.
hip hinge at lowest point.

options: if you are struggling with your form or balance, use the balance bar and do not go as low.

we’re back 🤝🏼

spider lunge 🕸️🕷️

our favorite spring options: 1B1W1G, 1G1B, 1R

how to: working leg on floor, knee over ankle, send ass down and back, goal is to stay in a static hold. press hands against high handle bars, upper body is parallel to the floor, neck in line with spine, belly button pulled to spine to activate core. driving through heel and squeeze glute.

non working leg: heel lands in ring of fire pocket, no toes touching, knee starts in line with hip, leg at 90 degree angle, drive through heel and let leg extend stopping before it locks out to keep the tension.

options: one hand on high handle bar or both hands behind back (ONLY if it doesn’t compromise your form, you want your upper body to stay parallel to floor.

our favorite variation: hands behind back, lift chest slightly, drive through working heel and bring in a slow 4-6 count squat.
