what a beautiful life i had here 🇯🇵 no words can accurately convey the blessing that these past few months have been, nor a 20 picture limit, but here’s some.

for me, this experience was years in the making. i thoroughly planned and saved and prepared to study in japan for so long, but i couldn’t have imagined just what life would be like. i am so lucky to have had the privilege to travel all over japan, and two other countries as well (🇹🇼🇰🇷).

but by far what i will remember the most about japan is the people. i am so grateful to have been surrounded by a collective so eager and excited to see new places, try unheard of foods, and do something for the first time. everyone’s openness and energy was so crucial to my growth and experience.

how i will miss running through airports or train stations, constantly passing by in hallways or sidewalks, going on day or weekend trips, sharing meals with people, or tips on japanese. i will forever reminisce the late night konbini runs, drinks by the river, devouring yakimo (specifically don quijote’s), playing games at the dinner table, and sharing stories and facts and traditions of our different countries. most of all, i’ll just miss being in the presence and company of all my new found friends, i wouldn’t want to do it without y’all.
