Book - # Just Asking By Ajay Achari Rating - ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 / 5~ ❤️‍🔥 A Different Kind of Read ❤️‍🔥 ~I don't know if everyone will feel the same, but this book made me stop after a few chapters and just think.At many points, I caught myself quietly thinking about similar situations I've seen around me. We see these things every day, but after a point we stop paying attention to them. Reading this book reminded me of that.I never felt like I was being told what to believe. It was more like someone was asking a question and leaving it to me to decide the answer. I actually enjoyed that because I could agree with some thoughts and disagree with others.One thing I noticed was that I wasn't rushing to finish the book. I was reading a chapter, keeping the book aside for a while, and then coming back to it later. That rarely happens to me.I closed the book with more questions than answers, but somehow I didn't mind that at all. Book - The Simplicity Trap By Rohit Chandrasekharan Nambiar Rating - ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 / 5~ 🤍 When Less Becomes More 🤍 ~ I picked up The Simplicity Trap expecting a book about making work easier. What I found was a thoughtful book about leadership, communication, and why we make things harder than they need to be.One thing that really stayed with me was the idea that complexity often grows slowly. A few extra meetings, another report, one more approval, and suddenly simple tasks become exhausting. I especially enjoyed the chapter about having one clear message. It made me realize how often we add extra words or information just to sound important, when clarity is actually much more powerful.The author shares lessons from his own corporate journey, and that makes the book feel honest and relatable rather than overly technical. I also liked how he talks about fear in organizations and how people sometimes avoid simplifying things because change feels uncomfortable.The biggest lesson I took from this book is that simplicity is not the easy option. In many cases, it is the brave option. Removing what is unnecessary takes more courage than adding something new.
