POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Another day, another Heavenly Bodies post, but this one is extra special becauuuuseee…✨I got to meet @authorimanierriu, and my heart is still so full from that evening 💗
You truly are a light, one of the sweetest, kindest souls.
I feel incredibly lucky to have found your books last year, they’ve touched my life in ways I’ll always carry with me.
Thank you for creating stories that allow your readers to dream and feel so deeply seen and special ☁️🌙
That entire event was pure magic, and I’ll treasure it always
To many more memories and moments with you ♡

This day was overall one of the absolute best, but meeting the 2 besties, @mathildeslibrary & @literarysophie made it EVEN more perfect, and next time we’ll be with @bookswitharianne who was with us in spirit 💙💚

Lastly, we cannot forget about @randomhouseca thank you for this more than perfect evening, thank you for everything 💫

The Knave and The Moon @rmgillig 🌙🗡️🕯️🦋

5⭐️ Oh, Bartholomew, I never want to leave this world…
Rachel Gillig is out here being a masterful storyteller, bringing stories and characters to life while reminding us of the importance of stories themselves.

Her worlds (& her words) make fantasy and magic come to life. ✨

I have highlighted SO many quotes and passages, and I just know this is a duology that will stick with me for a long, long time.

I was sobbing to the point of hyperventilating, and if you know me, you know I’m a rare crier when it comes to books. Truly speechless.

I did feel that this sequel was a little repetitive, following the same journey, simply for a different reason. But that doesn’t change the fact that I still adored it! I just wanted to see a little more variety in the plot.

p.s. Bartholomew shall always wear pink robes. 🩷

Threshing Day by @rebeccayarros 🐉🖤⚔️🌩️

4.5⭐️ I am so happy to be back into this world, even if it was for just a little while… ☁️ getting to experience Threshing with all these characters was such an experience, on so many levels ✨

The lore, the Easter eggs dropped, we have learned so much, but also, what do I do with all this new information! Absolutely insane, Rebecca is a mastermind! I thought this book would answer some questions, but I am now left with even more!

I had truly missed this world and these characters so badly, and I am craving a reread of the whole series… but no. I will hold off until right before the release of book 4! I shall! I must!

🔥My fav chapters 🔥 :
Ridoc - my man never fails to make me laugh, superior dragon/rider sarcastic dynamic
Imogen - hands down my favorite chapter, & did not expect it to hit so much!
Garrick - I underestimated you, ok yearner!
Bodhi, Sawyer & Sloane - my heart 💔

q : what was your favorite chapter?

Cursed City by @kategoldenauthor 🌃🖤⚔️
review

THIS is how a sequel is DONE. This exceeded every expectation I had! It was addictive, so bingeable!

Cursed City picks up immediately where Half City ended, and thank goodness, because that was an evil ending (don’t even get me started on Cursed City’s ending. That is HELLISH).

I truly enjoyed book one, but this? Automatic 5 stars.

DEACON.This should honestly be all I need to say. THE BANTER. The number of sentences I highlighted from this MAN! No notes. I love me a morally gray, bleach-blond, tattooed demon man!

No, but seriously, the atmosphere is immaculate and so early-2000s fantasy TV series coded. I also simply ADORE the friend group in this series. Truly superior. Everyone deserves friends like the Goonie Squad.

The stakes are high, the twists are twisty, the burn is burning, what more could one want?

This had me staring at the wall for so long after I finished it. And as I am writing this, I am still left feeling utterly blank. I am still trying to process what I just read... What an ending!

It’s cruel that book three isn’t out yet (and I’m saying this when this book isn’t even out in the world yet), but we’ll give you time to cook, you masterful genius!

So grateful to have been able to read this sequel early, thank you so much 🖤

Thank you, Kate Golden, @netgalley & @berkleypub for this eARC🫶
