Crystal was such a great and relatable character. She's a curvy Fitstagram influencer / personal trainer and I loved how modern and relevant that detail was.
The chemistry and enemies-to-lovers trope between Crystal and Scott was HOT 🥵. You truly can't help falling in love with Scott.
There were many things that I absolutely loved about this book, especially about Crystal's journey and what she ultimately learns about herself (no spoilers!). However, the "conflicts" throughout the plot were a bit overdone and made me feel impatient with the plot at certain moments. Even then, it was still great a read and a perfect addition to @plus.size.readathon .
I think I have to go back later and reread this to see if that part of the plot grows on me or still irritates me, lol. But it was still worth it 😊. 3.5 ⭐s by @readem.and.writes

This book was truly incredible! I discovered Penny Reid when the #KnittingInTheCity series came out and I loved it, especially Janie and Quinn. I haven't read the #WinstonBrothers series, but I chose this book that features a plus size heroine as part of my July @plus.size.readathon .
Sienna is a midsized woman and I love that although her size is referenced it's not central to her story. I also appreciated that the one time someone tried to fat shame her it was immediately shutdown by other characters (🔥🔥). Jethro is as swooney as they come ❤️ and he also had to work on self acceptance as opposed to the stereotypical of that only being something the heroine has to work on. This story is a bit of a slow burn that is definitely well worth it.
Some romance stories focus solely on the romance aspect, but Penny Reid's stories and characters always have an added depth and dimension that is priceless. Her witticisms, her one line zingers and her nuggets of wisdom get me every time. by @readem.and.writes
