I loved I Know This Much Is True so much that I bought the physical copy for my husband (I had to literally beg him because he doesn’t like reading off the kindle and he also doesn’t like super long books but he finally relented and agreed to read it so I had to order the physical copy. Men🙄) and I also decided to take a look at some of his other books. This one definitely caught my eye and by the end of the first chapter I was SAT! Have yall read this? I’m slowly becoming obsessed with Wally Lamb!

Synopsis:
Corby Ledbetter is struggling. New fatherhood, the loss of his job, and a growing secret addiction have thrown his marriage to his beloved Emily into a tailspin. And that’s before he causes the tragedy that tears the family apart.

Sentenced to prison, Corby struggles to survive life on the inside, where he bears witness to frightful acts of brutality but also experiences small acts of kindness and elemental kinship with a prison librarian who sees his light and some of his fellow offenders, including a tender-hearted cellmate and a troubled teen desperate for a role model. Buoyed by them and by his mother’s enduring faith in him, Corby begins to transcend the boundaries of his confinement, sustained by his hope that mercy and reconciliation might still be possible. Can his crimes ever be forgiven by those he loves? by @reader.bae

Your favorite bookworm is officially a Mrs. 😆💍👰🏾
It’s feels so ironic to share my own real-life fairytale in the same space where we’ve gushed over so many fictional ones. I’m really grateful to share in these milestones with you all. I’ve seen so many of you start families, get married, buy homes, advance in your careers and more. It’s a blessing to have such an amazing community to share something so special with🤍 by @reader.bae

Exciting news: I finished Quicksilver! Review to come!

I casually skimmed through the first few pages of Babel with no intentions of actually reading it and got all the way sucked in. So! Guess this is my next read, lol.
