Hiii! ✨

Thought I’d do an introductory post! My name is Arian and I’m from New Zealand 🫶🏼

I’ve always loved books and reading. There was a point in time when I somehow stopped reading altogether, although I would read a book occasionally. In November 2024, I picked up a book (ACOTAR🙈) a colleague recommended me. I’ve gotten back into reading and haven’t stopped since! Now, I’m drowning in my TBR 😂

Outside of all the books and reading, I work full time and do dance as a hobby 💃🏻

The purpose of my page is to share my love for books, reviews and recommendations. I wanted to have an outlet for all the feels before, during and after finishing a book (iykyk) 😌 Also, I love a yap about books so hehe.

If there is one thing I always have with me, it is my kindle 🙂‍↕️

I’m a passenger in a car or on the train or bus, I read. I’m chilling on the couch, I read. I’m cooling off for the night in bed, I read. I’m waiting for my cooking to finish, I read. If I have 5 minutes, I read. I’ve never been attached to anything like I am to my kindle 🙈

🥅 Bar Down Baby! by @kath_richards_writes

DID THIS BOOK MAKE ME LIKE SOMEONE NAMED BARRY??
Yes. YES. IT. DID. (right? INSANE… INSANELY GOOD) 🙈

Okay real stuff. Solid read! Heartwarming and swoony. One of my most favourite element of this book was the family dynamics. It was full of love and support for both Hannah and Barry. It’s almost so refreshing to see a strong support system 😍 And don’t get me started about how I melted every time Barry spoke to Hannah… the man was dooown bad and we love someone who’s down bad for our girl 🤭

This baddie is OUT NOW so if you’re feeling like swooning on someone named Barry, get on it!!

🐦‍⬛ Veiled Court by C.N. Crawford (@cn_crawford)

Hooking. Addicting. Unputdownable. The slowest burn I’ve read all year and yet it was so satisfying. I still don’t know if I’m rooting for Syn and Tristan, or Syn and Rion 😮‍💨 such fine men we have in here! I am already sat for book two whenever that will be because I need to know the game plan. So yup, see you at the next trials 🤭

Let me convince you more… expect:
- trials
- spies and missions
- slow burn 🔥
- fake romance in order to survive
- magical creatures (did I mention dragons?) 🙂‍↔️
- kings and queens
