4 books completed + 1 still reading at 88%.

I really tried to finish it before September ended, but my sleepy head said nope. 😂

My top reads this month were Check & Mate and Your Blade, My Heart!

Bookmail! 📦✨

Finally got my sprayed edge edition of Shield of Sparrows and she’s GORGEOUS! 😍

Would you buy a book just for the sprayed edges? 👀📚

📓: Project Hail Mary

An overdue book review because somehow I’m only posting this now 😭 I also watched the movie adaptation and loved it just as much! 🥹 This was an easy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me! 📚✨

I LOVED listening to this. I had it playing while doing chores, journaling, and even while eating because I just couldn’t stop. This book made doing chores feel like I was on a space mission.

The storytelling was so vivid that it honestly felt like watching a movie in my head. The way everything happening around Dr. Grace is described made every scene so easy to visualize. And fun fact, I didn’t even know it was being adapted into a movie while I was reading! Now I’m extra excited because this story would translate so well on screen.

But the real highlight for me? Rocky.
Their unexpected friendship was hands down my favorite part of the book. It was heartwarming, funny, and their way of communicating was just the cutest thing ever.

I also loved the twists throughout the chapters, esp. the discovery of Dr. Grace’s backstory. And the science and math elements? So fascinating. The author did such an incredible job explaining things in a way that felt detailed but still super engaging.

Honestly, I could keep going about all the things I loved about this book. It genuinely made me so HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY while listening to it.

And if you’re considering the audiobook - 100% recommend. The narrator was phenomenal, and Rocky’s musical tone was such a brilliant touch.

Absolutely one of my new favorites! 🚀✨

Since The Love Hypothesis was released yesterday and it’s currently my #1 Ali Hazelwood book (I’ve only read 5 so far), I decided it’s finally time to read more of her books!

Tbh, I think this is the perfect read for me right now. I just finished a dark romance duology, and now I need a little bit of innocence 😂

MIBF 2026 was SOOOO tiring! 😭

I went on Day 3 and Day 4, and I knew the weekend would be crowded, but I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be THAT crowded. 😂 Still, I enjoyed browsing and looking through all the books!

I wasn’t able to get my two other priority books, The Court’s Masterpiece and When It Rains, It’s Four, because they were already sold out. 🥲
But I’m super happy I got Ian Sta. Maria’s illustrated book. Just look how gorgeous it is! 😍

Definitely tiring, but I’m still so happy with my haul! I also focused more on local books this year, which makes me extra happy. 💖

Hi book besties! 🥹 I’m finally back! How are you all today?

I’ve been missing for a few months because,
honestly, I think I was just burned out from everything that was happening. I even got scared that I was losing my love for reading.

I kept trying, though. Sometimes it was just a few pages a day, and sometimes I went weeks without reading. But somehow, my book-buying obsession never left. 😂 Every bookmail still gave me that little spark. 📦💗

So this weekend, I decided to give reading another try, without pressure or goals. Just me, a book and hopefully that old excitement coming back. 🥹

Starting with this book 📖✨

Coming back to Bookstagram ✨📚

I’ve been a little quiet since December as life got busy, days got heavy, and reading slowly turned into listening, bookmarking, and “I’ll post about this later.” But I never really left. The stories still found me when I needed them most.

So here I am, turning the page again. New reads, overdue reviews, messy thoughts, and the same love for books that feel like home.

If you’re still here, thank you. If you’re new, hi, welcome to my little corner. ☺️

Let’s read, ramble and romanticize books together again 🤍📖

Celebrated my 29th birthday yesterday with my love. So thankful for these gifts from him. I told him I’d be satisfied with just 1 book, but he insisted on getting me these two and some extra surprises. Love you! 💖📚

There’s something magical about receiving books and knowing they come wrapped with love and thoughtfulness. Can’t wait to dive into these stories and create new adventures. Isn't it so beautiful? 😍 by @reading.layne

Happy Monday! 🤍

Starting a new book: Life’s Too Short by Abby Jimenez 📖

I’ve been MIA the past few weeks because work always gets extra busy before the holidays. I cannot wait for my 3-week vacation after this though, more rest, more stories, and more slow days spent reading ✨
