In Her Own League ⚾️

Liz Tomforde has done it again. She COOKED again with this one. 🔥

I absolutely loved In Her Own League! The characters, the chemistry, the banter and the whole story just worked so well for me. I was completely hooked and didn’t want to put this book down. 🥹📖

Liz Tomforde somehow always manages to create characters that feel so easy to fall in love with, and this book was no exception. The romance had me smiling, swooning and of course needing more. 🤭💕

Another Liz Tomforde book that completely delivered, she really never misses.

If you love romance, great chemistry and characters you can’t stop thinking about, definitely put this one on your list. 🫶🏻📚

The Pumpkin Spice Café 🎃☕️

This was such a sweet and cozy autumn read! 🍂🤎 The small-town setting, the coffee shop vibes and all the fall atmosphere made this book perfect for the season.

I really enjoyed the story and the characters, but unfortunately, the spark didn’t quite jump over for me. I was hoping to feel a little more connected to the romance and the story overall.

Still, it was a cute, easy read with all the cozy autumn vibes I was looking for and I‘m excited to read the other books. 📚

A sweet fall read, even if it didn’t completely win me over. 🤎

The Love Hypothesis, from page to screen 🧪🤍🎬

The Love Hypothesis will always have a special place in my heart because it was the first book I ever read in English and I absolutely loved it. 📖🤍

So seeing this story come to life on screen felt extra special. I went into the movie with high expectations, and overall, I really enjoyed it! ✨ Seeing Olive and Adam, their chemistry and so many familiar moments from the book on screen was just so much fun. 🥹💕

Of course, there were a few scenes and little details that I would have liked to see differently, especially compared to the book. But I think that’s always part of adapting a story from page to screen.

Overall, I really loved the movie and it was so special to see one of my favorite books come to life. 🧪📚🎬

📞 First-Time Caller 📞

First-Time Caller by B.K. Borison was such a sweet and heartwarming read! 🥹📚
I went into this book expecting a cute romance, and it definitely delivered on the cozy, feel-good vibes.

I really enjoyed the slow-burn romance, the chemistry between the characters, and the whole radio-show setup. There was something so comforting about the story, and I loved watching the relationship develop throughout the book. 🤍

There were definitely a few moments where the pacing felt a little slow for me, and I didn’t connect with every part of the story equally, which is why it ended up being a 4-star rather than a 5-star read. But overall, I had such a good time with it!

It’s warm, romantic, comforting and just the kind of book that makes you want to curl up somewhere cozy and keep reading. ✨

The When in Rome series by Sarah Adams has such a special place in my heart. 📚

There’s just something about these books that feels like a warm hug, small-town vibes, charming romances, lovable characters and plenty of cozy moments.

I love how each book brings something different while still having that familiar feeling. ✨
They’re perfect when you’re looking for something light, romantic and comforting, with just the right amount of emotional depth.

If you love small towns, slow-burn romance, found family and characters you can’t help but root for, this series is definitely one to add to your TBR. 🥹💕

🗝️ The Housemaid 🗝️

I finally picked up The Housemaid and unfortunately, it didn’t completely live up to my expectations.

I enjoyed the story and the twists towards the end definitely kept me hooked, but for me, the tension was missing for a big part of the beginning. I was waiting for that feeling of “I need to know what happens next” and that only really came towards the last few chapters.

The ending definitely made up for some of it and brought the suspense I had been hoping for, but overall I would have wished for a little more tension throughout the book.

I’m definitely curious to see what I’ll think of the other books in the series and whether they’ll bring a little more suspense from the beginning. 📚
