All the stars. This book is hands down one of the best books I’ve ever read. Add this to my forever changed me list because WHEW 😮‍💨

I legit sobbed throughout this entire book. As someone who has faced infertility head on this book wrecked me. I have never read a book that’s brought to light the horrible things your brain tells you when you experience these struggles. I’ve never felt so seen. It was raw, heartbreaking and so beautiful. The true unfiltered emotion and strength shown in this book was breathtaking.

Emmett and Cara are THAT couple and I love them both so much. This was not only an emotional rollercoaster but it was Becka’s spiciest book yet and I was here for it! The found family is great in the Playing for Keeps series as a whole but it was immaculate in Breathe With Me.

No notes. Perfect ending to a perfect series. It was worth every tear shed, and believe me A LOT of tears were shed.

Have you read Breathe With Me? If so are you okay? Lol. If not what’s the last book that emotionally wrecked you in the best way?

I have 230 unread physical books on my shelf. Two hundred and thirty!!!! 🥴🥴

So I’m trying out the tbr cart. Here’s hoping I can focus on my physical tbr for a while, with the exception of new releases I already have pre ordered. Wish me luck 🍀😅

Do you have a tbr cart? Is it helpful? Also please tell me how many unread physical books you have so I can feel better about myself 🫶🏻🤣

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the Queen @liztomforde.author last week & I’m still not over it.

Having all of my skyline copies signed is a dream come true. She was so sweet & funny and has me HYPED for In Her Own League. She mentioned you’d really love Monty if you had a baseball cap kink and welp, that’s me 😅😂 so you know I’m counting down the days until it releases.

This series as a whole has a special place in my heart but Play Along was the first book I ever read that gave me that comfort book feeling. I knew as soon as I started it that it would consume me and be a book I’d read over and over again.

What was the first book to give you that comfort read feeling?

A little update🫶🏻

Most of you know I moved across the country from FL to WA in September. This is our 5th move so it’s nothing new but it feels very different this time around. I’m not adjusting to the change as quickly as I have in the past. I’m finding it very hard to balance everything while adjusting to my new life and unfortunately bookstagram has taken a major back seat. I only open the app maybe 1-3 times a day for 5-10 minutes at a time. I focus more on my reading time outside of work and spending time with my husband as we try to navigate this new season of our lives.

I still want to yap about the books I’m reading but feel so guilty posting when I’m not engaging. So I think I’m going to start posting reading updates on stories only for a while. My DMs are always open to yap and I will scroll and engage with your posts whenever I can. I’m so thankful for you and this community 💕

Also I’m starting Saving 6 today and I just know my heart is about to be shattered so send me all the good vibes you have lol.

Happy Sunday friends. Hope all is well and your current read is amazing 🥰

I get the hype.

Boy do I get the hype. I had to go touch grass after this one. This book and these characters now consume my every thought. I am obsessed and utterly destroyed. My poor little empath heart is shattered on the floor but I have no regrets.

For anyone like myself who has experienced childhood trauma or any trauma for that matter this is somehow both gut wrenching and healing at the same time. My inner child absolutely needed to read this series but adult me is unwell already and it’s just book 1 😅

Chloe’s writing is beyond amazing. These characters have so much depth, I feel like I know them personally. This will be the toughest series I’ve ever read but it will also be the most life changing. 5 stars, infinity stars, every single star that exists!

If this is on your tbr just give in and read it. It’s so worth it. If you have triggers please read the trigger warnings.

I’ll be here devouring Keeping 13 and crying on the floor 😅😂

What’s a series that was healing to you?

In my hockey romance audiobook era

I recently devoured these gems and I highly recommend listening to any and every hockey romance audiobook you can get your hands on. Hockey is hands down my favorite sport (Go Bruins) so naturally it’s one of my favorite sub genres 🖤🎧🏑

If I had to pick a favorite of this stack it would be Unsteady. It surprised me in the best way. But all of them were such fun reads! Individual reviews coming to my stories soon so I can add them to my highlights.

What is your favorite romance subgenre?

No big deal, but I’m finally starting the Boys of Tommen series!! I’m only 15% into Binding 13 and I can already feel the obsession brewing. I just know this series is going to change me forever 💕

I figured since I own 3 copies of the first two books it was time to read them lol. I’m sad that my ombré and B&N exclusives will be incomplete but loving the new covers releasing!

Have you read BOT? How much is this series going to wreck me 😅

These days you can find me living in my new favorite sweatshirt from @taleandthread, fighting off the constant urge to reread Mate and listening to every hockey romance “available now” on Libby 🖤🐺🏒

Seriously obsessed with this sweatshirt and cannot wait to get the other two I ordered in soon.

Do you have bookish merch? If so what’s your fav?

•Chapter 34•

Here’s to another trip around the sun. Year 33 was full of ups and downs, between my husband having a cancer scare (all clear btw) and a cross country move it’s been chaotic at times but it was also full of love, strength and adventure. I don’t think I would’ve made it without all the amazing stories I’ve read to escape into. I found my love for Ali Hazelwood this year with Deep End and her books straight up saved me the last few months. I also made quite a few friends in this community and I’m just so thankful for each of you 🫶🏻

I’m a little sad today being away from my family and friends on the east coast but I was spoiled with books from family & friends, a wknd of all my favs with my husband and the most gorgeous bouquet ever. I couldn’t be more blessed 💙

I need 1,000 pages of Gabriel STAT. It’s a literal crime that this is just a novella. How Ali writes a perfect MMC, hilarious and strong FMC with a full dystopian world in less than 200 pages is pure wizardry. I never wanted this to end. I will read this novella a million times, mark my words. I devoured this masterpiece in less than 24 hours and I have no regrets. Honestly I can’t wait to do it again.

What did you read this weekend?

✌️challenges☝️post

I was tagged by @riding_the_pages to spell the word haunt and by @a.couple.pages.more to do a colored hearts stack 🖤💚💜 Since spooky season is rudely coming to an end I decided to do these two together. Thank y’all for the tag 🫶🏻

I’ve tagged a few friends to join in either challenge. You pick! Since November is quickly approaching your word is Harvest or your colors are 🧡🤎 as always no pressure.

What book is currently haunting you or your tbr?

I was tagged by @bookstachels in a word challenge to spell the word fright. Thank you for the tag friend. Perfect word choice for today honestly because ya girl has the Sunday scaries lol.

I’ve tagged a few friends to join in, if you want, no pressure! Your word is SCARY 🖤

How do you combat the Sunday scaries? I like to clean the entire house and then hide away with a book the rest of the day.
