✨Dearest gentle reader✨ Am I the only one obsessed with Bridgerton? πŸ’– The second part of season two just came out and im feeling all the feelings 😭 I don't agree with how they release the episodes and how many there are but I'm still sitting here, eyes glued to my screen and crying, laughing and giggling at everything happening. This series is amazing and please tell me im not alone here? I love Benedict so much he's everything and I hope he gets everything he wants πŸ˜‚ (please don't spoil me, I haven't read the books yet and haven't finished the last episode). My favourite character is still Penelope, even though I feel this season doesn't do her justice. QOTD: Who's your favourite character or have you seen Bridgerton before?πŸ₯° #Bridgerton #Benedict #bookstagram #romancebooks #netflix by @readingheartbeat

✨Still here, still reading!✨ I know I’ve been a bit quiet lately, but life got in the way! πŸ“š I’ve missed this space and sharing my bookish moments with you all. Even when I’m not posting, you can bet I’m somewhere under a blanket with a cup of coffee, trying to read. To make up for my absence, I just had to share this absolute stunner Alchemised. I'm planning on doing a reread very soon. I am completely obsessed with this book. The way it weaves magic, tension, and such deeply complex emotions is just... chef's kiss! 🀌 And can we just talk about how beautiful this edition looks? It’s pure eye candy for any bookshelf. πŸ•―οΈβœ¨ QOTD: What is the best book you've read while I've been away? Let me know in the comments! 😍 #Alchemised #Bookstagram #senlinyu #fairyloot #readingtime by @readingheartbeat

✨ Happy New Year everyone! ✨ 2025 had its ups and downs, but one thing stayed constant, my love for reading πŸ“šπŸ’› I reached my reading goal without ever feeling like I was forcing myself, discovered so many incredible stories, and clearly lived in fantasy worlds most of the year and honestly, no regrets πŸ˜‚βœ¨ The last couple of months were taken over by exams, which is why I went a bit quiet, but I’m almost done now and so excited to come back, chat books, and share more again. I’ve really missed this community 😍❀️ Swipe to see my Top 10 reads, reading stats, and favorites of the year ✨ πŸ’ Which book was your favorite read of 2025? πŸ“š #bookstagram #readingwrapup #readmorebooks #fantasybooks #readinggoal by @readingheartbeat

✨November wrap up ✨ Happy 2nd December πŸŽ„ I have been completely MIA, and I am sorry for that. I am probably not going to be on here a lot for the next couple of weeks. It is exam time and I have spent all my time on exams and school for the last month, and it is going to stay that way throughout December and January 😭 But anyway, I finished 5 books in November, and that is so surprising when you look at how busy I have been 😭 I read some pretty amazing books and then some not so amazing ones, but all in all I am happy. I am missing 5 books to reach my reading goal for the year, so I am crossing my fingers that I can reach it, but I am not sure with how little time I have outside exams. How has everybody been lately? Any news? ❀️ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ #Bogreol #boganmeldelse #bookstagram #reading #bogsnak #litterature #kindle #smallcreator #bookshelves #books #romantasy #fantasy #ya #bookspine #bookblogger #bookhype #booktok #bibliophile #cozybooks #bookish #bookishreel #darkromance #bookstack by @readingheartbeat

Wtf omg arghh I need to read the third book right now! I really liked the first one, The Chained Prince, but the second book was amazing. I was swept up by the story immediately. The main character, Araya, had such great character development. I loved seeing her go from not trusting anyone to actually feeling more like herself, feeling safe, starting to trust others and her surroundings and discovering her magic πŸ§™πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Loren is a typical man in the way he does stupid stuff to show his love. Maybe he should listen to his friends more, because he kept screwing up with Araya, but I loved what it all led to in the end 😍 I just loved the slow burn love story they had, and I can't wait to see how it will develop from here. I think in the future a lot of the traumatic events that are happening will definitely affect them, and hopefully it will make them closer 😍🀞🏻 I liked that we saw more of the Fae realm and the political side of it. I hope we get to see even more. I really want to explore the Fae side of this world and meet new characters, new powers, and maybe different creatures. I just need more. If you haven't read The Chained Prince yet, go pick it up now. You can just make it before the release of this one, The Bound Mage. Thank you so much for the ARC @beccacalderauthor β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ #Bogreol #boganmeldelse #bookstagram #reading #bogsnak #litterature #kindle #smallcreator #bookshelves #books #romantasy #fantasy #ya #bookspine #bookblogger #bookhype #booktok #bibliophile #cozybooks #bookish #bookishreel #darkromance #bookstack by @readingheartbeat

I finished Bonds of Hercules and I am sad to say that it was a huge disappointment for me. I preordered this back in February and I was so excited for it because I really liked the first one. But this gave me nothing πŸ˜” I personally thought the writing was very bad, and sometimes it was really cringe to read. I felt it needed more editing and at times a sentence just sounded kind of silly. I am not trying to be harsh, but it felt like it did not get enough attention from the editors 😬 Also we were promised this huge sex scene at the end. The characters talked it up to be this big thing, but what we got was a whole pile of vanilla. It is completely okay to like that, but it was not what the characters were promising πŸ˜’πŸ“š But I do understand why people love it. It is action packed and fast paced. I did not struggle to finish it because things were happening all the timeπŸβš”οΈ I am not sure if I am going to continue with this series. If Locked Library makes a really pretty special edition of book three I could be convinced, but otherwise I am not sureπŸ’– QOTD: Have you read this book? I had high hopes for this one since I loved The Year of the Witching by the same author, and I can definitely say it lived up to my expectations. It pulled me in right from the first page, fast paced, dark, and full of twists I didn’t see coming πŸ‘€πŸ–€ I really enjoyed following Marion, the main character, and figuring things out alongside her. I loved the concept of becoming a bloodmaid and found myself wondering why others, besides Marion, would choose that life. Each chapter began with a quote from a bloodmaid from a different house, which made me even more curious about the society and the rest of this worldπŸ§›β€οΈ All in all, this was a great read, I just wish there had been more!βœ¨πŸ’– β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ #Bogreol #boganmeldelse #bookstagram #reading #bogsnak #litterature #kindle #smallcreator #bookshelves #books #romantasy #fantasy #ya #bookspine #bookblogger #bookhype #booktok #bibliophile #cozybooks #bookish #bookishreel #darkromance #bookstack taken in Odense, Denmark by @readingheartbeat

✨Oktober wrap-up✨ October was an amazing reading month. I have been loving all the Halloweeny and dark books I read this month. Ten books! I finished ten, that is crazy. I have never read that many in a single month before. But I did have a little competition going with my sister, so I was extremely motivated πŸ˜‚ I won! So yeah, now I am owed a free coffee β˜• My favourite book of the month was Alchemised. I devoured that book, I loved it so much. I am constantly thinking about it and already planning a reread in November πŸ“– QOTD: How did your reading go in October?πŸ’–πŸŽƒ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ #Bogreol #boganmeldelse #bookstagram #reading #bogsnak #litterature #kindle #smallcreator #bookshelves #books #romantasy #fantasy #ya #bookspine #bookblogger #bookhype #booktok #bibliophile #cozybooks #bookish #bookishreel #darkromance #bookstack taken in Odense, Denmark by @readingheartbeat

𝑭. π‘²π’–π’‚π’π’ˆ πŸ’– π‘Ήπ’‚π’•π’Šπ’π’ˆ: ⭐⭐/5 Katabasis has such an interesting premise and really beautiful writing, but I found it hard to stay invested. It’s a super character-driven story, which I usually love, but I just didn’t feel much connection to these characters. We didn't get enough details about them, only in flashbacks about their time at Cambridge. I craved more show and not tell. Because of that, the pacing felt a bit slow and I struggled to stay engaged, honestly... I found it boring πŸ˜” It also just didn’t seem to have much purpose. It had all the ingredients for something powerful but never really said anything new or meaningful. Beautifully written, but kind of empty πŸ“š Still, I think readers who enjoy slower, dark academia stories will probably get more out of it than I did 😍 β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ #Bogreol #boganmeldelse #bookstagram #reading #bogsnak #litteratureΒ  #kindle #smallcreator #bookshelves #books #romantasy #fantasy #ya #bookspine #bookblogger #bookhype #booktok #bibliophile #cozybooks #bookish #bookishreel #darkromance #bookstack taken in Odense, Denmark by @readingheartbeat

πŸŽƒHappy Halloween everybodyπŸŽƒ I don’t have any Halloween plans today, but tomorrow I’m going to a haunted house! My boyfriend has been asking me for years, and he finally got his way πŸ˜… Of course, I made sure it’s not too scary πŸŽƒ This month has flown by so incredibly fast and I can’t believe it’s already over. My reading this month has been amazing. I’ve read 10 books! That’s wild for me, but I did have a bet going with my sister to see who could read the most, and as far as I know, I’m winning πŸ˜‚ QOTD: How has your month been? Are you doing anything special for Halloween? β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ #Bogreol #boganmeldelse #bookstagram #reading #bogsnak #litteratureΒ  #kindle #smallcreator #bookshelves #books #romantasy #fantasy #ya #bookspine #bookblogger #bookhype #booktok #bibliophile #cozybooks #bookish #bookishreel #darkromance #bookstack #halloween taken in Odense, Denmark by @readingheartbeat
