Can't stop won't stop with the Taylor memes 😂 Taylor consumes my life most days but she has CONSUMED me this week 🧡

I finished the New Heights podcast episode and loved every second! October 3rd can't come soon enough!

I loved when she framed Travis' face and immediately started thinking of books I could use to make this a booksta post 😂 she's teeing up some of this content creation for us, I swear haha.

So here's some more Taylor content featuring some of my favorite books!

The Triple Play by Julia Jarrett

This book was a lot of fun! It's a mmf romance that involves Olivia and two of her brother's best friends. I really liked that Olivia was a heroine in STEM. I also loved how sweet, thoughtful, and considerate both the men were with Olivia. The spicy scenes were fun, but also helped show the progression of their relationship.

If you love small town sport romances with swoony heroes, definitely check this out!

Thank you to the author for an advanced copy to read! All opinions are my own. taken in BOOKSTA by @readingmegsversion

September wrap up 🤎📚

I've been falling back in love with monster romances! I also finally read Michelle Obama's memoir, which has been on my TBR since it was released 😅

I finished out the month with a reread of Age of Innocence, which I think might have sparked a classic kick. I foresee some Jane Austen and George Elliot in my future. taken in BOOKSTA by @readingmegsversion

Forever in love with Nick and Charlie 😍🩷

This series reminds me what it's like to fall in love for the first time 🥹. I also think it does such a good job at showing how complex being a teenager is, while also addressing healthy ways to deal with the many things life will throw at you. taken in BOOKSTA by @readingmegsversion

Mermaid in Manhattan by Jessica Gadziala

I'm about 20% into this book, and it's so cute so far! I'm loving the world building and all the small mermaid details the author added in. And the cover is so cute 💕

Side note, there is no filter on these photos. The sunrise light was so beautiful this morning 😍 taken in BOOKSTA by @readingmegsversion

Into The Fading Twilight by Catherine Cowles

5/5 ⭐ (obsessed!)

I rarely guess who the bad person is in Catherine's books, but I can honestly say this one shocked me the most!! Because what?! I did not see that coming haha.

Another wonderful romantic suspense from Catherine! I really loved Kol and Nova. Nova's journey was traumatic, but resilient and thoughtful. I really loved seeing her and Kol be a safe space for each other. Sky was so sweet. I loved the little tidbits we got of her.

This book was perfectly slow burn! It was the perfect blend of trauma, emotion, humor, suspense, and romance 🩵 taken in BOOKSTA by @readingmegsversion

July wrap up 🩷

I'm finally out of my reading slump! I had three five star reads this month ⭐

Fever Dream by Elsie Silver 👢
I loved that this book was set on a reality dating show! I grew up with The Bachelor, so this was so fun to read about a romance taking place on a similar show. I liked that Julia was working on the show and not a contestant. It added a nice layer of tension.

Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke 🌾
I'm still thinking about this book, and I finished it weeks ago. Just wow.

Into The Fading Twilight by Catherine Cowles ✨
She does it again! What a great romantic suspense! It was filled with romance, humor, suspense, small town charm, and just enough adventure. I was so shocked at the villain, as always haha

Book haul 📚

I went to one of the most aesthetic bookstores ever haha Swoon Books & Wine is so freaking cute 😍 and they have cocktails!

I had so much fun book shopping and looking at all the beautiful decor and plants. Even the bathroom was gorgeous haha.

I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Dayton area. I can't wait to read the new books I got 🥰 by @readingmegsversion

Yesteryear by @caroclaireburke

5/5 ⭐ (obsessed!)

This book!!! I get the hype! It was an addicting read. I listened to the audio, and I highly recommend the audiobook! I loved the writing, as well as all the twists and turns. I couldn't stop listening!

Natalie, a traditional wife influencer, suddenly finds herself back in time in the 1800s. This book has two timelines: her life leading up to the present that we saw in the very beginning of the book, and her time back in the 1800s.

This book was so interesting and there are so many different things to examine and break down. I love seeing everyone's thoughts (even the negative ones) on what the book was about and their theories. This book is a conversation starter, and I think that's what makes reading so great. We can all read the same book and come away with totally different perspectives on it.

Have you read (or are you planning to read) Yesteryear? taken in BOOKSTA by @readingmegsversion
