Under the Iron Sky
by: A. T. Emerald
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

no spice to .5🌶

This has now taken top spot of my favorite book of the year so far, like wow! It drug me in and I couldn't put it down. The world building, fire, characters, relatable, plot twists, chef's kiss...cannot say enough positive things about this book. You need to read this ASAP.

This is a true enemies-to-lovers story, where our main FMC, Soraya was born into a world of sunshine and happiness and one day it was all taken away and the world was brought back into the darkness.

Dystopian, romansty vibes with dragons, dungeons, dark lords and BA FMC, who literally has the best mind ever.

...so please, go get your copy(preorder US, comes out tomorrow!)

you're welcome.

🌟Book Review 🌟
Blood of Truth and Traitors by:
Aria Ashbrook

🌟🌟🌟🌟.25 stars
🌶🌶🌶(spicy)

Book 3, what a ride! I had to take breaks from this book because there is so much that happens, from start to finish. Sooo much, so know that going in. I enjoyed it but not as much as I loved book 2. This definitely a me thing. I think I am just tired of all the plot twists, but those actions need to happen to keep the book going, so again this is a me thing.

This book is also great for us neurodivergent people, because it is all over the place with so much happening. 😂

Rose needs to just chill, but we know that can't happen...the next book is going to be wild and I cannot wait to see what happens to wrap the series up. Thank you to the author for allowing me to be an ARC reader. You all are the best.

🌟 Book Review 🌟
Winterveil by: Ava Reid

🌟🌟🌟🌟 probably closer to 3.75 stars, still up in the air. This book is very niché, so definitely not for everyone.

I was not expecting the sapphic romance, and that doesn't bother me, but definitely put that out there because their will be people who hate it just because of that. This story is definitely more than the romance. The romance is like .5 a 🌶. It will come in and surprise you out of no where.

The plot(writing)is all over the place but I think that is on purpose. I don't know if I loved the characters, there wasn't depth to them, they were
cliché, so predictable.

This all to say, if you like cold war era and dystopian vibes, then this could be a book for you. Definitely recommend watching the video Ava Reid posted about this books inspiration before reading.

🌟 Book Review 🌟
The Light Within
by Ang T. Dalton
Book 3 of the Twisted Thorn Series

Releasing: Oct. 13, 2026

Thank you, Ms. Dalton for allowing me to read this perfection of a book early. Really and truly, this book is everything.

It is Romansty to it's core but the characters, action, dragons, direwolves and storyline that make this story even more. This story follows Scarlet Thorne, who was trapped in a shed for years, one day she is mysteriously let out and has paperwork for her to be able to join the most prestigious war college. Her only hope is that she can channel power and stay at the school to make a better life for herself. Scarlett learns more than she ever thought possible. She finds friends who become family, she finds herself. Book 3 is Scarlett taking who she is and finishing the job she started. It's so powerful and metaphorical to life.

My favorite character will always be Fallon. She is completely different from the norm and I appericate her fiesty, mean personality that deep down just wants to be loved like anyone else. She fights her depression throughout the whole series and I loved watching her grow. I really love the way she makes coffee. 😂 GF does not give a f...my favorite.

Go read Books 1 and 2 and preorder BOOK 3!

Hide the Witches by Miranda Lyn

This book was phenomenal, with trials that hit differently and a cliffhanger that will leaving wanting more. I loved our FMC Seneca. She is a strong BA who never gives up.

When are you born with a secret that could get you killed...you really don't have a choice. She is forced into trials that push her beyond her limits and makes her see who her real friends are.

This book is great for enemies to lovers, found family, choosing self, trials.

I am so excited book 2 comes out this month.

I listened to it on audio and I really enjoyed the audiobook.
