ARC Review ๐ŸŽพโœจ๐ŸŽฌ โญโญโญโญ.5 Finally getting around to posting this lol enjoy!! ----- This book was really beautiful and well written. I loved the pacing of the romance (it was definitely a slow burn) and it felt really real! Also my first tennis romance ๐Ÿค Liana Cincotti did a beautiful job writing about this sport! I also loved the chapter titles โœจ they were so fun! Her dedication and love for tennis was obvious and I liked how despite everything that happened to her over the last few months, she came back stronger to prove to everyone else and most importantly herself that she's still an amazing tennis player. She kept going despite it all. He's so sweet and caring towards his family especially his Abuela (she was a gem in this in book ๐Ÿ’™). "๐‘ฉ๐’† ๐’Œ๐’Š๐’๐’…." โญโญโญโญ I always manage to get a little teary eyed at the end of an Ashley Poston book and this one was no different ๐Ÿงก I will say though that out of all Ashley Postons novels this one really had me slowing down and to really take in the story as a whole and not just the romance. You don't even get much of the romance at the start which is why I think some say it's a slow start but I think that's the point. The book is ultimately about grief. It's about learning to live again and rediscover yourself after loss, whatever that may be. หšห–๐“ขึดึดเป‹๐ŸŒผห–๐“ขึด๐ŸŒฟหš.๐Ÿงค Sophie - our horticulturist! She's incredibly smart, genuine, funny, kind, and honest. She grew so much throughout this book from being lost and struggling throughout her grief to finding her passion and spark for gardening while also opening up and keeping her best friends memory alive โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน I loved reading about her relationship with Cyrus as it grew and blossomed into something beautiful ๐ŸŒปEven Cyrus went through some growth in learning how to forgive himself, not staying stuck in the past, and not letting his past mistakes determine his future. I loved all the other characters in this story โ€“ Juliette, Eula, Oliver, Wykofski, & Damnit our ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜บ lovely and kind goose ๐Ÿชฟ โ‹†โœด๏ธŽหš๏ฝกโ‹† I also loved the untranslatable words! I just love when the chapter titles are also special to the story! โ€ Here are my favorites โ€ ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—บ: Noun. English. Literally moon road it's the shim-mering path-like reflection of the moon on the water. ๐—ž๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฏ๐—ถ: Noun. Japanese. Sunlight filtering through the leaves of trees. ๐—–๐˜‚๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ผ: Noun. Italian. The ring-shaped watermark left by a glass. ๐—–๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ: Adjective. The way I reallyyyyyy hope McCoys book is next after reading these two ๐Ÿ˜ญ He's actually so funny lol ๐Ÿ“ ๐‘ช๐’๐’˜๐’ƒ๐’๐’š ๐‘ช๐’‚๐’”๐’–๐’‚๐’ ๐Ÿ“ 4โญ Colt - His love for Ruby made my heart melt ๐Ÿซ  ๐Ÿ’• shes just so sweet! He works so hard for Ruby and Blaire even if he had let her go. Also the one chapter at the end!! Thank you for keeping that man away from Blaire ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿพ Blaire - the moment we met this woman's dad and ex I physically recoiled ๐Ÿ˜– Blaire is so strong and way better than me cause I was immediately like WHAT?? Anyways ๐Ÿ˜ญ Her and Colt were impossible to keep apart no matter how much she claimed to hate him and she loved Ruby without a second thought ๐Ÿ’ ๐‘บ๐’Ž๐’‚๐’๐’ ๐‘ป๐’๐’˜๐’ ๐‘บ๐’Ž๐’๐’Œ๐’†๐’”๐’‰๐’๐’˜ ๐Ÿ’4.5โญ HUNTER CALLOWAY ๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†•๏ธ๐Ÿค  this man was YEARNING the WHOLE BOOK ๐Ÿ˜ญ He was soooooo incredibly down bad for Maggie โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน (sorry Colt the yearning gave him an extra .5 lol) Maggie - I'm so so so so so glad she finally stopped settling for less than she deserved! ARC Review ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ‘™๐ŸŒ… โญโญโญโญ *deep breath* AHHHHHH I LOVE JEREMIAH SMITH II okay so first of all this book is literally the PERFECT book for the summer ๐Ÿ’› like Heart Beach, cookies, funnel cake, parasailing, party on the beach, movie nights, food, bikes โ€“ everything Jeremiah ugh he's so kind, respectful, mature, hardworking and supportive. I'm actually starting get upset that these men are NOT REAL ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ like pls be real I love Noelle!! Literally one of us! A book girly who loves reading! She's also so funny, kind, mature, hardworking, and supportive! The two of them together were perfect! They just made sense and fit so well together โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน Also LOVED Jeremiah's family, Tati, & Sheree. And now I wish I could try the cookies too :( If there's one book to read this summer, let this be one of them!!!
