Feel free to recommend me thrillers and mysteries that will get me feeling chilled out!! I may have to switch gears to horror.

Part 2 of Muslim Representation done wrong!!!

I try to experience each book I read with an open mind and I love reading stories from different walks of life, HOWEVER, If I see or read something harmful or pushing negative stereotypes without nuance or good reason….Im gonna have to say something!!

me NOT to saying something would be absolutely preposterous!!

Dont market a book as “positive muslim representation” and then have the most white-washed character ever who is not connected to her religion or spews absolute nonsense.

Anyways, let me know your thoughts, and Im working on compiling a list of GOOD representation!! Will share shortly

📖 Current Read!! 📚

I just started Fledgling by @skalibooks and had to stop and share because look how gorgeous those character cards are!!! Also happy release day for the second book in the series “Golden Flight!!!”

Ive been putting off this read in anticipation for the second book, but we wait no longer!!! I just started this book and already love the world building and characters, feels like a solid start for the dystopian fantasy stans.

Excited to dive deeper into the world!

My Mid Year Check In!!! Books, movies, shows, and hobbies, we are covering it all!!

Ive really been trying to prioritize spending time on my hobbies, instead of doomscrolling or feeling bad for not being “productive” (whatever that means!)

Tell me some of your favourite things from the first half of the year, I do so badly want to know.

Books you couldn’t pay me to….💸📚

(This is all for show, I would probably read or drop whatever you chose if there was some big dollars on the line 🤑🤑)

I tried to pick books that I don’t mention often and deserve more love (or find my people who are haters too!!)

Drop your own hot takes, I wanna hear what book you couldn’t be paid to reread or pickup!
