⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ flew through this one. Quick short chapters that didn’t drag on. Fast paced. chefs kiss. Plot twist not twisty enough for me, but I appreciated all the sub plots. Very well done! #silentpatient #psychotherapist #bookstagram by @readingwithoutglasses

I’m a slow reader, but none the less a reader. These are the second half hopefuls to 2026 but being a mood reader it’s possible these will still be on the shelf in 2027. Not Evelyn though…. I need to know her story #moodreader #bookstagram #readinghopefuls by @readingwithoutglasses

I need to learn to leave space in my luggage for all the bookshops I visit on holidays!!! Although I didn’t go on a blind date, this concept has always got my interest. Has anyone gone on a successful blind date with the book of their dreams??? #blinddate #elizabethsecondhandbookshop #fremantle #bookshop #preloved #books taken in Fremantle, Western Australia by @readingwithoutglasses

Let me reintroduce myself

I’m Annie,
I spent too long on bookstagram overthinking posts and what I wanted out of it and being way too hard on myself that I wasn’t “creative” like the rest.

After some time away… MY SPARK IS BACK!
I am a slow reader
I’m not good at editing
I’m not a genre reader
I don’t understand the algorithm
But I love reading and people who love to read 💛🧡🩷

I hope to connect with as many people as possible through bookstagram.

This was definitely a labour of love! At 700+ pages, it took me half my life to finish.

I regret nothing

Mr Martin remains my favourite author. No characters are black or white. All are flawed and realistic.

The book follows the entire Targaryen rule from when they conquer Westeros until the dance of Dragons.

I was reading this book as the first House of Dragon season was released and couldn’t understand the whole Zaddy Daemon fandom. 🤢

The first third of the book is a history lesson which was… different but gave it some time and it came back to the SOIAF style story telling
