We’ve had some new followers since doing our last lil intros so 🎶allow us to reintroduce ourselves🎶

I love seeing others’ book bestie applications and wanted to get in on the fun!😍 Also why is it sooooo hard to think of hobbies and interests as an adult😂😭

Thanks to everyone who has been along for the ride so far! Looking forward to making more book besties🤍📚

Just a lil Sunday reading check-in📖👋🧡

Thanks @lattes.and.bookshelves for the inspo like a month ago😂 it’s been a really great couple of weeks of reading at least for me! I had THREE five stars in a row: Grim Tidings, Empire, and American Rapture. Tommy’s most recent read, King Sorrow, also was a five star. October is off to a great start🎃

❓How are you spending your Sunday?

The past three weeks have included three author talks, one concert, and one book festival and it’s been THE BEST! All my favorite things✨📖❤️‍🔥🎤

Hope everyone has been having a great week…we made it to the weekend!!!🙌

Two for Tuesday feat. my two current reads

📖 What the Woods Took
🎧 The Maze Runner

Are both my current reads about teenagers stuck in the wild without adults? And both have stubborn main characters that are annoying me? Maybe😂

What the Woods Took is very intriguing and I’m really enjoying the eerie energy. The Maze Runner is a reread. It was my fav back in high school and I wanted to see if I would still enjoy it today! Plus, after reading Shatter Me last month, I’ve been dying for some more 2010s dystopian worlds🖤

I’m also still thinking about that JoBros concert from last week hence the picture and song choice🤪💃

❓What are you currently reading?

SPOOKY MONTH IS HERE but first we gotta recap September🍂🍁

Some notes:
1. Tommy also read 5 audiobooks but didn’t want to include them because they are middle grade series (Artemis Fowl and Charlie Bone) and didn’t want to rate them😂
2. Although American Rapture was my fav I read this month, I am giving it a maybe due to the content of the book. But I really enjoyed it and found it very impactful!
3. Vicious was a reread and even better the second time🖤

Overall it was SUCH a solid month of reading and we’re looking forward to jumping into our October TBRs🎃

❓What was your favorite book of September?

Empire by Sabaa Tahir❤️‍🔥 5⭐️ ~a Carlee read~

I need to buy two copies of this book: one as a trophy copy for my shelf and one to bury in the backyard where it can never hurt me again.
