I'm counting it as 8k! Felt nice to go out with the Polar Pals tonight and shake out my tires race legs. #amrunning by @readrundonuts

Lovely sunny day to run a half marathon with @railwaycityroadraces So nice to see friends come out and cheer and all the runners were supportive and encouraging! What an awesome community! 1 more race to go this season and then a well-deserved break! #amrunning #candoit by @readrundonuts

I've been trying to find a creative outlet for my stress and ended up taking a 4-week wheel throwing pottery class at @cottagepotterystudio in July. Today I was able to pick up my 10 pieces. I now have 9 bowls and 1 bowl with a handle 😆 I'm really pleased with how some of the pieces turned out and am seriously considering continuing with pottery. #stressrelief #beginnerpotterywheel by @readrundonuts

Made it to parkun #47 today! Went with @dreyer_v_melanie and Linda to Victoria Park Beach in Coburg. It was also the 10th anniversary of Parkrun Canada. #amrunning #parkrunca by @readrundonuts

Got another #parkrunca completed. #45 at @duffinstrailparkrun Rolling hills on a gravel path, nice out and back. It was harder than expected in the humidity. by @readrundonuts

Went to the #heatedrivalry soundtrack release party at @groovesrecords. Picked up my vinyl preorder, which came with a tote bag, bumper sticker and poster. Attempted trivia (badly) and bingo (not much better). Vinyl came with 2 trading cards and a 2-sided poster. Guess I know what I'll be listening to for the rest of the day 😁 #reheating #adventures by @readrundonuts

Trip to Hamilton on Friday had to include a stop at #grandadsdonuts. I was in town to get 2 #heatedrivalry tattoos from #sillygoosetattoos. And of course I stopped by Relay (where the smoothie shop scenes were filmed) to get a tote and some coffee 😁 by @readrundonuts

Such a cool experience! Saw No Doubt at The Sphere thanks to an awesome friend. We even had a chance to go backstage! Amazing vibes, incredible graphics, and great music. Couldn't believe how many songs I (mostly) knew 🤣 #afterworklife #vegasbaby by @readrundonuts

I had a lot of fun being a marshal at @forestcityroadraces this morning. I was positioned just before the 13km. The first runner came by at 840 and the last around 1010. In between I saw the really fast, the fast, a huge middle, and a steady back of the pack. I cheered on friends, familiar faces, and everyone I saw. I tend to think of myself as a slow runner, but seeing those last few runners, obviously sore and exhausted, keep pushing through was so inspiring. It's tough to be the last person - or to think you're the last person - but these people kept going and I cheered even harder! Definitely inspired to do this again and keep cheering folks on. And hopefully I'll keep some of this in mind during my next runs and races. #volunteering #lovelydayforarun by @readrundonuts

Today was National Donut Day, and I brought in donuts for my office team. Did the usual chopping up so we could sample each one. Then had a nice relaxing team lunch before a chaotic afternoon. So grateful for these folks, especially when I'm about to spiral out of control. #editorlife #donutsallday by @readrundonuts

A week later than expected but I made it to Chain of Lakes parkrun this morning. I've now been to a parkrun on both the west and east coast of Canada! #amrunning #parkrunca by @readrundonuts
