I really enjoyed this one! I loved the idea of humanity suddenly disappearing from Earth, leaving only a handful of people behind who lived on Mars.

The mystery surrounding the Vanishing had me hooked, and I was really curious to find out what had actually happened.

I did find the different POVs and timelines a little confusing at first. There was quite a lot to keep track of, especially with the story jumping between the Martian colony and different points in Earth's past. Once I got used to how everything was structured, though, I found myself getting really invested.

I particularly liked how the time-travel missions tied into mysteries like Roswell and the lost Roanoke colony. It was such an interesting way to bring real historical mysteries into the story, and I enjoyed gradually seeing how everything was connected.

The full cast narration was brilliant, and I thought the sound effects made the whole thing feel really immersive. There were a few moments when I had to concentrate to keep up with everything, but I loved the twists and how much bigger the mystery became as the story went on.

Overall, this was a really enjoyable sci-fi listen with a clever concept and plenty of surprises.

This was just an okay read/listen for me. I thought the premise was really interesting, especially with the mysterious older woman showing up outside Annie and Greg's house. It was definitely an unusual concept, and I was curious to see how everything would play out.

I liked the mix of time travel and psychological suspense, and there were a few moments that kept me guessing. I also thought the way Annie and Greg's relationship was gradually explored added an interesting element to the story, although I wasn't particularly invested in either character.

My biggest issue was that I felt the story could have done a bit more with such a good idea. Some parts seemed a little rushed, and I wasn't completely convinced by certain decisions or actions. The twists were decent enough, but none of them really blew me away.

Overall, it was a fairly average listen. It kept me entertained and I didn't dislike it, but I wasn't particularly impressed either. I liked the concept more than the execution, and it wasn't a story that really stuck with me afterwards.

I absolutely loved this book! I wasn't entirely sure what to expect going into it, but I ended up being completely hooked. The whole concept was so interesting, and I loved the darker, more unsettling take on the King Midas story.

Auren was such an interesting character. I really enjoyed seeing things from her perspective, especially as she slowly started questioning everything she had always believed. There were definitely moments when I found her frustrating, but I also understood why she thought and acted the way she did.

I loved the world building and the atmosphere that was created. Everything felt so vivid, and I thought the mix of magic, secrets and political scheming worked really well. The story was quite dark at times, but that was part of what made it so compelling.

The pacing was a little slower in the beginning, although I personally didn't mind because I was enjoying getting to know the characters and their world. Once things started happening, I found it really difficult to put down, and the ending left me desperate to pick up the next book.

Overall, this was a fantastic start to the series, and I was completely invested by the end. I can't wait to find out what happens next!

This book had a haunting atmosphere, and the historical Japanese setting was well written.

The talk of ghosts gave it an eerie atmosphere, while the lies, murder, and desire for vengeance kept the tension high, and I was hooked. I especially liked how fear and obsession shaped the plot without making it feel predictable.

I was a little confused at the beginning, but everything became easier to follow as I continued to read.

I really appreciated the glossary at the end as it helped with the unfamiliar terms. The ending itself was satisfying and overall this book was dark, absorbing, and well worth the read.

I've seen a few posts like this on Bookstagram, so I thought I'd share my own version! These are just a few of the female authors that I love โค๏ธ.

My TBR is already ridiculous, but apparently that doesnโ€™t matter when one of my favourite authors releases something new ๐Ÿ˜‚.

I had mixed feelings about this one. I liked the concept and there were some tense moments that grabbed my interest, but I never felt completely invested in the story.

My biggest issue was how repetitive it became. Certain situations and conversations seemed to go around in circles, which made parts of the book feel much longer than they needed to be. I also struggled with some of the charactersโ€™ reactions and decisions because they just didnโ€™t feel realistic or believable considering what was happening around them.

That being said, I still enjoyed the survival aspect and there were some entertaining moments. It was an easy enough read and I was curious to see where everything was heading, but I wanted a little more depth.

Overall, it was an ok start to the series with an interesting premise, but there were definitely a few things that stopped me from enjoying it as much as Iโ€™d hoped.

This was a great ending to this trilogy! I absolutely loved seeing everything finally come together after all the questions and revelations from the previous two books. It felt like there was constantly so much at stake, and I was completely invested in seeing how it would all play out.

I enjoyed being back with these characters and watching their separate stories finally connect. There were some genuinely emotional moments that hit much harder than I expected, alongside plenty of tension that made it difficult to put this book down.

I also really liked how much bigger the world felt this time. After spending so long wondering what was really happening, finally getting answers was satisfying without taking away the unsettling atmosphere I had loved about the series.

The ending was emotional, tense and full of hope and the Silo trilogy has definitely become one of my favourite reads.

This was such a strange and atmospheric listen! I really enjoyed the isolated Arctic setting and the constant feeling that something wasn't quite right.
The full-cast production made everything feel incredibly immersive, and there were some genuinely creepy moments that kept me interested.

I loved never being completely sure what was real, although I did find myself a little confused at times when things became more chaotic.

I also would've liked a bit more character development, especially considering how short the story was. Still, the mix of sci-fi, horror and mystery worked really well for me, and the twists definitely took things in directions I wasn't expecting.

Overall, this was a dark, unsettling and really entertaining read that was easy to get through.

Although this book wasn't my favourite from the series so far, I still enjoyed reading it. There was plenty of tension and action, and I liked seeing the conflict within the community finally reach a proper breaking point.

There was a lot more focus on the characters and the difficult choices they were forced to make, which gave the story an emotional edge. I especially liked seeing Liam, Hannah and Quinn continue to develop their relationship with one another as the situation around them became more dangerous.

I did find some parts a little repetitive, particularly with the amount of fighting and preparation leading up to the main confrontation, and Noah's storyline was frustrating at times.

That said, I was still invested enough in the characters to keep turning the pages, and there were definitely some emotional moments.

The ending left enough unanswered questions to make me curious about what would happen next and I look forward to reading the next book.
