Monthly reading wrap-up for September ☕️🍂 September was not a big reading month as I started school again, but I managed to read three books - and it’s finally fantasy season! ⚖️ Zodiac Academy has been around forever it feels like and I’ve seen so many people talk about it, so I’m glad I finally read it! Perfect for fall with the dark academia setting. 🪻The Poison Daughter is a new release and after everyone was raving about it I had to read it too! ❄️I was lucky enough to get an ARC of the 3rd book in the Hierthan Path series by Aria Ashbrook. Although this particular book was not my fave, I love the series! Academy setting book recs, romantasy edition 🎓🏰 It’s back-to-school fall season! 📔”A requiem for fallen stars” by Hazel S. Wilkes is a recent favorite and one of my best romantasy reads of the year! 📔”Dire Bound” by Sable Sorensen was a favorite last year, I love reading about dire wolves 🐺 📔”Fourth Wing” by Rebecca Yarros is an obvious one, but I love it too much to skip it 🤭 Also, can’t wait for the new release in this series this month! 📔Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout is an “oldie but goldie” (it came out in 2011!). I read it a few years ago after I read the Blood & Ash series by the same author. Armentrout is one of my all time fave romantasy authors. B&A was the first romantasy I read as an adult and it got me hooked! Many times the author will have a big backlist that is also worth checking out. Last - now - next 🤓 As a mood reader, I honestly never have a clue what I’m reading next 😂 But I know I’ll be downloading the last book in the Kindred’s Curse-series on release day September 8th! I feel lucky I only discovered this series this year, because I got to read all the three first books in one swoop and didn’t have to wait too long on the final book. Sometimes it pays to wait ☺️ It’s been one of my fave romantasy series so far this year! Just a girl and her endless TBR - my fall romantasy hopefuls! 🍁🐺 This is not even a fraction of my full TBR, but there are too many books and not enough time - so I have had to narrow it down 😅 I’m in such a romantasy mood these days, it’s all I want to read! ⚔️ I’m beyond excited to get started on this TBR, it’s gonna be a good fall reading season 😍 The TBR is a good mix of: series I’ve almost finished, new to me authors, some old releases I’ve thought about for a long time, new releases, established romantasy authors, debut authors, slow burn romance, cozy fantasy, dark fantasy, urban fantasy, paranormal/ wolf shifter romance, some of my fave series and books I temporarily DNF-ed but want to give a second try!
