🎰 all bets are off by @estellemaskame 🎰

i absolutely LOVED this book!! 😭🤍
three povs, a vegas bachelorette party, secrets, unexpected exes and plenty of chaos… what more could you want?!

i loved getting to follow adelaide, hailey and evelyn and seeing how their lives all unfolded. each of them had their own struggles, secrets and stories, and i was equally invested in all three! the characters felt so real and distinct, and i found myself flying through the pages because i just had to know what was going to happen next.
the vegas setting was SO much fun, and the joint bachelor and bachelorette party had me hooked and frustrated! i went in expecting a fun, fluffy romance, but there was so much more depth to this story than i expected. it had the perfect mix of humour, romance, drama and some heavier topics that really added to the story.
and evelyn and jameson… PLEASE GIVE ME MORE OF THEM!! 🥹 the chemistry!! the tension!! i am absolutely not ready to say goodbye to these two, and estelle, i will be patiently (impatiently) waiting if you ever decide to give them their own book!!
this was such an entertaining, feel-good-but-also-make-you-feel-everything kind of read, and i honestly couldn’t have loved it more! 💗

a cosy, swoony autumn romance with one choice, one season and two different versions of love 🍂☕️

willa’s life takes a sliding doors moment when she inherits some money and has to decide between chasing her dreams in london or staying in oak falls. in one version, she finds herself spending weekends in the library with grumpy out-of-towner theo… and in the other, she’s working at the coffee shop alongside monosyllabic, broken-hearted james 👀
think small-town romance, grumpy x sunshine, enemies to lovers, autumn vibes + two possible love stories - basically everything i want from a cosy fall read 🥹🍁

if you loved the pumpkin spice café or gilmore girls, this one needs to be on your tbr! 🤎

our scottish road trip audiobook 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿📖🎧
my husband and i listened to the tenant while doing part of the NC500 and it was SUCH a book to have playing while driving through scotland!! beautiful scenery outside the window while absolute chaos was unfolding through the car speakers🔊
this one had us questioning EVERYTHING. every time we thought we’d figured it out, another twist came along and completely changed our theories!
@fmcfaddenauthor does such a good job of taking a normal setting and making it feel so unsettling. the secrets, strange behaviour and constant feeling that something wasn’t right had us completely hooked. we couldn’t wait to get back in the car to listen to more!!
the twists?! SO many moments where my husband and i were listening and immediately turned to each other like “wait… WHAT?!” 😭
listening to this one together on our road trip definitely made it even more fun - our own little thriller happening alongside the NC500🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

kiss me like you mean it by @lauracwood
okay… i think i’ve found the perfect autumn romance🍁🤎
this book was everything i want from a cosy seasonal read! small-town vibes, fake marriage, friends-to-lovers, brother’s best friend, dual POV, ALL the yearning and just the right amount of chaos🥹

lee and nico completely stole my heart! their whole relationship had me smiling way too many times, and i loved watching everything unfold between them. there’s something about a romance where the characters already have history that makes all that tension and pining so much better🤩
i also absolutely loved the small-town setting and the side characters! it made the whole story feel so warm and cosy, like being wrapped up in a blanket with a hot drink while the leaves are falling outside🍂☕️ add in a cute dog, a single dad and all the romantic tension and honestly… what more could you want?!
and the stars hollow vibes?! yes please!🍁 this is the kind of book that makes you want to light a candle, put on your comfiest pyjamas and read for hours!!!

5 stars from me and easily one of my favourite reads this year
