Thank you to the wonderful @kwistinareads and @francescareads for tagging me in this challenge, if you don’t follow them you totally should. Also thanks to @ristyreads and @je9andpapermemories for tagging me in a similar version!

A Genre I Stay Away From: Sci-Fi/Horror. I don’t tend to opt for those genres but I’m open to trying some sci-fi. I don’t read much non-fiction but again I’m always open to recs.

Worst Habit As A Reader: Please I have so many!! Buying books and not reading them for months probably

Do I Read The Synopsis: Rarely/never. I LOVE to go in blind, it’s exciting.

Do I Buy/Read Used Books: ABSOLUTELY, I love a good bargain and I’m always happy to re-home a book. I tend to sell/donate my books I won’t read again.

5 Favourite Books From Last Year: The Love Hypothesis, ACOMAF, It Ends With Us, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

3 Favourite Classics: I don’t really read classics. Alice in Wonderland and The Secret Garden. Twilight is a classic to me.

Books I Always Recommend: It Ends With Us, Ravenhood and everything SJM

Books I’m Ashamed I Haven’t Read Yet: Me Before You by Jojo Moyes and Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan

I love getting to know you guys so I’m tagging a few and if you’ve read all the way down here consider yourself tagged also! by @readswithmt

I just had to share my current physical read and my bookmark that is reminding me of the Abbey which makes up a location in my book.
I am a sucker for a gorgeous cover and I’m happy to say the book so far is enjoyable - considering I’ve read some very good books recently there is a high standard for this one to follow up on.
Enjoying reading this with @oliviarooreads ✨

Hi friends!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted so I thought I’d just do a check in.
I do still exist but I feel like I don’t have the capacity to keep up with regular content creation because life is just busy!
In terms of a bookish update, I wanted to share my favourite fantasy and favourite romance book I’ve read of the year so far. As far as my fantasy pick is concerned, it’s a duology in the form of Sara Hashem’s The Jasad Heir & The Jasad Crown. It’s truly yearning at its finest.
My romance pick (if you can call it that) is Into The Blue by Emma Brodie. The writing is so beautiful and the story feels so unique.
Pics are from my very recent trip to an Indie bookstore in York called Topping & Company. Scroll to see what I ended up buying (& also influencing my friend to buy)

If you got all the way to the bottom - thanks for reading & see y’all next time

Was meant to post yesterday but was far too depressed after finishing stranger things!

I read 62 books this year. I’ve set my reading goal for 2026 at 50 just so I’m not pressurising myself and to remind myself that reading is for enjoyment!

What was your top 3 books for 2025?

Hello lovely people!
Here is one of my impromptu proof of life posts. Just when I thought I’d become more consistent with posting I just get so busy with life!
I’m currently buddy reading Alchemy of Secrets with @kharaisreading and LOVING the premise of this one, I’m thoroughly intrigued so see where this will go!

What are you reading? What are you looking forward to this month as the year comes to an end?

I’m firmly in my Stranger Things era (& very emotional about it) and absolutely can’t wait for the next part of season 5 to drop (but also very scared)
