the last book that i… ⭐️🗝️🤎

happy wednesday my lovelies! i think i did this trend a few weeks back, but thought of doing it again, along with a small reading update eheh enjoyyyy! <3

reading update 🍁🗝️
i finished trust fall by lynn painter (⭐️3) a few days ago and i can confidently tell you that it’s probably one of the most boring books i’ve read this year, if not at all. I’m still debating if i should lower the rating or keep it as it is.
On the other hand, i started A Court of Mist and Fury and, although I’m reading it a little bit slower than i intended, I’m really enjoying the audiobook! 🎧

happy friday!!! i hope you have a wonderful weekend filled with good books <3

now, was acomaf on my october tbr? no… but was @lostinbookswithdi able to convince me to read it? absolutely yes.

acotar wasn’t that memorable but i know everyone rages about this one (and the next one🫣) so i might as well give it a shot.

q: so, without spoilers ‼️ tell me something i will only understand when i finish the book 🤭 by @readwith.bia

my october tbr 🍂☕️

a little selection of books i hope to get to this month… but as a certified mood reader, we all know this tbr is more of a suggestion than a plan 🥴

i’ll be on vacation for most of october, so i’m expecting to get quite a bit of reading done 🤎 hopefully lots of cozy mornings, late-night reading sessions & way too many books!

q: any suggestion of cute coffee shops in porto to read in? >.< by @readwith.bia

“for you, i am forever undone.” 🏹🤎

i absolutely loved this book from the first to the last page, i can’t believe it took me FOUR years to read it, after reading the wicked king in 2022. the drama, the politics, the romance — all of it was so well-executed! i went through a mix of emotions reading this book, i was sad, then happy, then angry. i’m not gonna lie, i did cry. i WEPT during the last page before the epilogue because it just it me that this beautiful story was coming to an end.

it’s not secret i love cardan and jude but, seriously, both characters had such a good character development. i was actually impressed to read Cardan’s character growth and how much he grew through the whole series. i can’t talk enough about jude’s character development, she is truly the best queen of elfhame and it made me so happy (and tearful) when people chose her as their queen.

this book was fast-paced, addictive, and had me wanting to scream, kick my feet, and immediately turn the page. the ending was bittersweet because i wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters, but i absolutely loved where their story ended.

the folk of the air will always have a special place in my heart. 🤎

books that made me fall in love with reading all over again 🏹❤️

some stories just hit differently. The ones that pulled me out of reading slumps, made me stay up way too late, had me thinking about the characters long after finishing, and reminded me why i love getting lost in a book so much 🥹❤️‍🩹
