Prioritize that older book you’ve been meaning to read, it’s so worth it! by @readwitheyeleen

yrly kindle appreciation post

i honestly take it with me everywhere. reading between floors on the elevator, waiting in line… it keeps me from doom scrolling (sometimes)

and I totally abuse it. i should have one of those folding cases, but I just love my little clear case so much. hunting for new stickers and changing them out just makes it even more fun! by @readwitheyeleen

bits of may 🌸

Read a total of 6 book
Best: The Lion Women of Tehran
i cried
Worst: American Fantasy
hurts to say because I was so excited for it

really hanging out in nature lately, and loving it. also crushed 15 season of defenders (marvel, it was the only thing I never watched), just in time for the new spiderman. i’m also going to blame all the tv for the reason my TBR isn’t getting read… 🤭

Chatty & Dungeon Crawler Carl

Roadtrip and forcing my bf to listen to his first audiobook with me, chose something I’ve heard boys like. It’s actually really funny!!! It’s this dystopian sci-fi about an alien invasion that basically turns the surviving humans into contestants on a crazy game show. Carl, the main character is just a regular guy trying to survive with his cat Princess Donut.

Also back in Chattanooga and I missed this place so much. Found some new coffee shops and hit all our favorites from last year. 💕 taken in Chattanooga, Tennessee by @readwitheyeleen

Sunday start: The Lion Women of Tehran

I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about this one and just the author in general, so if this one lives up to the hype The Stationary Shop is next

Does your TBR cart look like it never changes, no matter how many book your read…or is that just me?

camera roll crumbs ft. my current reads because i’m apparently finishing two books at once like i have my life together again

water moon by Samantha Sotto Yambao, cozy magical dreamland vibes, exactly the opposite of my other book… which is exactly what I need.

honey by Imani Thompson (out May 5th), unhinged female serial killer litfic that had so much potential and is still good, but i wanted more. the murders happen mostly off page and we get the aftermath instead, which is a cool narrative choice, just not as gripping as i hoped. it can lean a little pretentious at times too. still finishing it though because i’m always hopeful it has a good ending!

february flew by in the best way, birthday month had me fully off preoccupied and all over the place. which you can never be mad about that.
