Oh my god! This story was fantastic and the audio was so freaking good.

Molly Stark and Christian Leatherman did an amazing job and they really brought this story to life.

Charlotte, aka Charlie (but only to Luke), is a badass female hockey player participating in her first winter olympics in Sweden. She’s had a crush on her brother’s best friend Luke for years and he just so happens to be the Skip of the men’s curling team and is also in Sweden competing in the olympics.

Watching their connection blossom and them finally giving in to their attraction was 🧑‍🍳💋 The spice was 🥵 and I absolutely loved them together. The way they supported each other throughout the Olympics and were there for the important gold medal moments was just so sweet 🥹

I also really loved how their sports were a big focal point and how well Jillian wrote both. She really made it easy to follow even if you don’t know much about either sport.

As always, another fantastic read from Jillian and I cannot wait to see what comes next!

Thank you for the ALC! 💙 by @readwithkarab

Blurb:
For better, for worse. For richer, for poorer. Forever or finite?

Talia Brooks left her rough past behind with a wedding band and a promise from her childhood sweetheart. Years later, that ring sits in a box, untouched, her childhood sweetheart a fading line on a marriage certificate. Her life in Iris Meadows isn’t the future she imagined, but she’s got a loyal group of friends and a promising career—what’s there to be sad about? Everything, apparently, especially when her estranged husband moves back into their home, refusing to give up on their marriage.

When Tate Brooks first plucked the strings of a guitar, he never expected to become a country music star worshipped by millions. Money and fame quickly transformed his life, but at a cost he didn’t realize he wasn’t ready to pay. Now that he’s back in town, Tate and Talia are forced to face the music they’ve been running from, putting their vows to the ultimate test one last time. by @readwithkarab

We are getting SO close to release day now! And I for one can’t wait 🤭

You only have a short time left to sign up for an ARC of Country Vows (and I suggest you do) and while you wait for it to be out you can read book 1, Melody Whispers on Amazon or KU.

Midwinter Surrender by @siennajuddauthor releases on 11/3/2026

Penelope Wang has been my best friend since I arrived in Echo Valley over a year ago.

I took the chief of police job back then expecting a town that would keep its distance from the outsider. To my surprise, the prettiest woman I’d ever laid eyes on slid in beside me to claim a latte with a spaceship dusted into the foam, commanding my attention.

Five foot nothing. All womanly curves, and smarter than any man I’d met, me included.

I’d been in town for four days, and by the time our cups were empty, I’d told her things I’ve never told my own mother. I knew instantly she was one to hang on to.

All this time later, I’m still hanging on. Hanging on to every word out of her heart-shaped lips. Hanging on to the smell of her perfume in my truck an hour after she’s climbed out of it.

Hanging on to the one rule I don’t get to break– don’t touch her.

Not when she falls asleep on my couch in my t-shirt.

Not ever.

She’s my best friend, and I’m not staying here.

Echo Valley was always a stop on the way to political office back East.

But then Pen goes up a mountain alone, three days before Christmas, and comes back down with something following her.

Headlights in her driveway at two in the morning. Men who know where she lives.

They’re not getting anywhere near her.

Penelope Wang is mine.

They can come through me—and die trying.

I’m supposed to be taking a break.

After five years of writing contemporary romance on a relentless release schedule, I’m burned out. My last two books have barely made a ripple, and for the first time in my career, I’m not sure I have another love story in me. So when my agent offers me a secluded stay at the luxurious Belicourt Resort in the Teton Mountains, I’m ready to say yes.

Blurb:
When budding artist Eira Davies is caught sketching her best friend’s handsome brother, Lucas McKinney, their subsequent one-night stand is supposed to be nothing more than a fun memory. They live totally different lives, in different cities, so there’s no chance of running into each other after their steamy night of passion, right?

Fast forward six months, and Lucas is desperate to save his struggling ranch. Renting out the spare cabin on his property seems like the perfect solution—until his first guest turns out to be Eira, the woman he hasn’t stopped thinking about since their night together. A true believer in fate, Lucas can’t shake the feeling that the universe has delivered her to his doorstep with a big, shiny bow.

As sparks fly and the Christmas lights twinkle, they’ll have to figure out if this holiday surprise is just a festive fling or if somehow they’ve managed to unwrap the real deal. by @readwithkarab
