I hope this resonates !
Hi, I’m Karrie , reading from my little corner of Maui island. I spent 20+ years on courts and in coaching rooms before I found my way back to stories — and I haven’t stopped since.
I love Thrillers that keep me sitting up straight , historical fiction that open my mind and heart, romance that makes me giggle and the occasional romantasy binge.
This page is where I share it all: honest reviews, book recs, and the reading life I’m building one page at a time.🌺📚 by @readwithkarrie

Read books and escape to another dimension ⚔️📚

It’s never too late to fall in love with reading. I found my way here — and you can too. 🌺

Hi, I’m Karrie — reading from my little corner of Maui, and completely smitten with this newfound love of mine.
Books found me later in life, and they’ve been changing it ever since. Thrillers that keep me up past midnight, historical fiction that breaks my heart open, the occasional romantasy binge .
You can expect this page to share it all: honest reviews, recs, and the reading life I’m building one page at a time.

If you’re just discovering your love for books too — welcome. It’s never too late, and there’s room for all of us here.
Aloha,
Karrie 🌺 by @readwithkarrie

Support your local library!☺️📚🌺

Libraries aren’t just about books. They’re community.

Mine is Wailuku Public Library, and every visit feels lovely and anchors me to this community!

Show your library some love this week. Grab a card, check out a book, go to an event, or just say mahalo to a librarian. 🙌

“I’m not a reader.” You ever get that?
I used to hear “I’m not an athlete” all the time too.

Here’s the truth: nobody starts out as either. 🏐📚

You don’t need to run a marathon to be an athlete. You just move.
You don’t need to finish 100 books a year to be a reader. You just read.

One page. One chapter. One audiobook on a walk. It counts.

🌺 What’s the book that changed your mind? 👇 for me it was Never Lie by Frieda McFadden by @readwithkarrie

Fun fact: research on “blue spaces” links time near the ocean to lower stress and a better mood.
Add a good book and it’s basically therapy.

Honestly. 📖

It’s the one place my mind gets quiet.

Save this for the next time someone asks you why you read!

Tell me the book that gave YOU peace 👇🏼 I’m building my next stack from your answers.

Currently reading 📖
Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt by Ben Reeves

Just finished Home Front by Kristin Hannah… and went straight into another heartfelt one. 🥹 Clearly I don’t know how to protect my heart.

I’m out here grounding before I dive into this book.

Have you read it? Tell me what I’m in for 👇 by @readwithkarrie
