POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Here are my favorite books in each of my most-read genres!

❓ Have you read any of these? Is there a book you’d recommend based on my favorites?

It was so difficult to choose favorites, especially for romance, contemporary, and mystery/thriller which I read a lot of. But I think this is a good summary of my reading taste and the books I recommend most often!

A while back I visited @theunreliablenarratorroc & was so excited to see a Blind Date with a Book!

I love a dystopian horror & really enjoyed the book inside. Any guesses?

FINALLY built my new bookshelf & reorganized my books!

It’s wild how many different sizes of books there are! I loved this asymmetrical shelf since it made it less noticeable that my books are all very different heights.

Most of these books had just been sitting in boxes and I’m so happy to finally be able to display all of them!

Happy #BannedBooksWeek 📚

I kicked off the month of September with a visit to @beastlybooksofficial & absolutely loved that they had a section of Banned & Challenged Books 🫶🏻

My top book of September was The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult. That one had me crying on the airplane, but it’s a read I won’t soon forget.

The rest of the month was a mixed bag ranging from Maeve Fly (one of the grossest horror novels I’ve ever read) to The Cinnamon Bun Bookstore (basically a Hallmark movie in pages).

❓ What’s your favorite banned/challenged book, or one you’re hoping to read?

I’m hoping to read Brave New World this month!

5 years on bookstagram!

I started this account 5 years ago while I was in NYU’s publishing program. I thought that being engaged here would eventually help me get a job in book publishing…. it did not!

BUT it did start my interest in marketing which brought me to my current career path. It’s introduced me to new authors! And, it’s introduced me to some incredible people both online and in-person.

For that I am grateful 🫶🏻

Here are 5 books on Kindle Unlimited that I rated 4+ stars:

(4.25/5) The House in the Cerulean Sea (fantasy)
This book is like a warm hug and lives rent free in my brain. Such a sweet read!

(4/5) All The Light We Cannot See (historical fiction)
Not my usual genre, but this is such an impactful story.

(4.5/5) The Song of Achilles (historical fantasy)
This one brought me to TEARS. I’m not normally a historical fantasy reader but this was so moving!!

(4.5/5) The Overnight Guest (thriller)
I loooove a good thriller and this was a great one!!

(4/5) One Italian Summer (contemporary fiction)
I think I cried through this entire book??? A touching story about grief and loss that takes place on the beautiful Italian coast.

❓Are you an e-reader fan, or do you prefer physical copies?
